Dr Carmichael is a composed, soft spoken, very good communicator which includes listening to his patients. I felt he handled my condition very well and that he has me on medication that will help me. I was very fortunate to have Dr Carmichael as my Dr for the shot time that I did.

I never take the time to do this but feel often with the misconceptions about mental health felt it important to take the time. I had waited almost two years to see a new specialist since moving to the area. I was asked very little, he came in with preconceived notions, I felt unheard, disregarded and quite frankly little he would rather be anywhere but there. Was extremely disappointed.

Dr. Carmichael is an exceptional psychiatrist, he truly cares about his patients. He is kind and a great listener, and is knowledgeable. All of his patients including myself are extremely lucky to have him as a Doctor. He has changed my life for the better and I am forever thankful!

Dr. Carmichael is kind, gentle, thorough, knowledgeable, and non-judgmental. He allows you to ask questions and does not make you feel rushed in any way. I have seen him 5 times and this is his normal demeanor - he has been fantastic each time. He found his true calling as a psychiatrist and any person unfortunate enough to need his help would be lucky to have him as their doctor.
