You are in a safe pair of hands with Dr Gandy. All questions are answered and above all he is a great communicator as well as a skilled surgeon. I had gallbladder surgery and it all went very smoothly. Post operation notes are comprehensive and clear. What was initially an anxiety provoking event ended up as a very positive experience.

What an incredibly positive experience I had with Dr. Gandy and the team at East Sydney Private. From the first consultation through to post surgery I felt comfortable and confident I was in great hands. Dr. Gandy was professional, informative and understanding. Post surgery I had minimal pain and my scars are on track to fully fade. Such great care was taken and I’m so thankful - I couldn’t recommend enough. The team at East Sydney Private are so warm, caring and professional. I felt at ease from the moment I walked in the door and loved the boutique style facility.

Reading this review you could be very fortunate to have Dr. Gandy as your surgeon.
Perfectly skillful and professional.
Post operative instruction covered every aspect of my recovery.
I had a large inguinal hernia repair.
Walked outdoors a fair bit after first few days. Felt fine after one week. Still a bit delicate maybe. Thought I could possibly play golf after two to three weeks. Following instruction though, to improve my short game with putting and light chipping for a few more weeks.
So glad to be rid of that d... bulge in my groin.

What can I say , he is a very caring and professional doctor. He attended to my husband within a few days. That included consulting and operation . It was thought that is was a possibility it maybe gastric cancer and being just at the beginning of the new year, myself and our family were very concerned that we would have had to wait until February. Dr Gandy didn’t waste anytime and informed us from the beginning to the end . We can’t thank him enough . We would highly recommend this wonderful doc.

I recently had a direct hernia repair, under Dr. Gandy. He is amazing, He is one of kind and best doctor I have ever come across in POW. I appreciate his patience, care and excellent bed side manners. His knowledge and skills are top class and his colleagues are very professional. He is down to earth and answered all my questions very patiently. The surgery was smooth- planned well and executed well. No pain, no scar, no complications and above all I feel almost normal in 2 wks. Any key hole surgery, GI issues or any general surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Robert Gandy. It is not just me, my family and friends recommend this skill-full surgeon- not many nowadays.
