I was referred to Dr. Rajasekaran last year for a hip flexor injury from running. At the same time I was having numerous appointments for xrays of my back and hip and mri of the hip and groin. Bottom line...I missed an appointment that I don't recall ever having been confirmed. When I was told by my Dr. that I had missed my appointment, I called Dr. R's office only to be treated like a serious criminal by his receptionist. I was told I was irresponsible and that I would be put back in the cue for another appointment. That appointment never came. My Dr. and the rehab Dr. at KGH referred me again. I received a call from my family Dr. saying that he was sorry but because I had missed my first appointment, Dr. Rajasekaran was not interested in seeing me! Seriously?? Has he ever made a mistake? What kind of person does that, not to mention a medical professional? I was willing to pay for my missed appointment but that did not rectify the problem. My Dr. suggested that we find someone else since Dr. R. had obviously made up his mind not to see me. Not sure if he is arrogant, insecure, lacks the ability to offer grace, or all of the above. In any case, very disappointing behaviour.

This is the second time seeing Dr. Rajasekaran pre/post hip surgery. He's been amazing and patient . Keeps wording simple,honest and upfront, able to look beyond the box , glad I was sent to see him, worth the travel . The staff friendly , kind. Office is clean an efficient. Show up when Im suppose to , never a long wait . Definitely treated with respect and answered any questions open and honestly !!

Worst Doctor appointment of my life. Left in tears. Had an ACL tear in my knee. His medical advice/treatment: told me to stop skiing. Essentially no treatment. Why? Ageism. I am 64 yo, active female mountain biker, alpine & nordic skier, kite surfer, runner etc. I weigh the same as I did in high school. Fortunately, afterward I was referred to Banff Sports Medicine Clinic in Golden. BSM Doctor told me I was a great candidate for reconstruction. Had surgery less than 2 mos. later. Doctor said it was a full ACL tear and best case scenario with no other issues and healthy tendons. I'm happily 9 weeks post surgery tomorrow and it is going great. Dr. Rajasekaran and his clinic were a waste of time and money (300 km round trip). Maybe he has never met an active person over 60 before. Inexcusable.

Horrible experience with this doctor. After arriving at my sceduled appointment time he passed me over for later appointments not once, but twice. Finally I asked if he knew I was there as I had a scdeduled appt prior to the last 2 patients. His response was I was being rude to question him in front of everybody and that he would not see at all because there wasnt mutual respect. He went on to add everybody else came on time by arriving 10 min early. When I advised him I was on time for my 9:00 appt and it was clear he was pounishing me for not arriving 10 min early he exclaimed " you arrived at 9:01". The rceptionist was no help whatsoever. She was on the phone when I arrived but while checking me in she asked "oh, did you have trouble finding us?". I told herI had difficulty finding parking and in fact I had to park next door in a neighboring lot after a long futile wait for a spot to open up. No one who is seeking medical attention should have the stress of being abused by a tempormental self important physician. Be forewarned. The internet is full of stories and complaints about similar treatment by him. He is a petty self impotant physician whose is more obsessed with his own rules than the well being of his patients. There are gentle, knowledgable and compassionate doctors out there but,he is not one of them.

I highly recommend Dr. Rajasekaran. Great bedside manner and very experienced. I could tell right away by his method of examination that he knew what he was doing. Within five minutes he discovered a tendon tear that no one has been able to diagnose. Thank you.

I had a great experience with the front office young lady and physician, Dr. Rajasekaran! She was polite and the booking went smoothly. The doctor was prompt, polite, thorough and a good listener. He provided detailed information relating to the diagnosis/ailment and a go-forward treatment plan. I highly recommend this team.

Dr. Rajasekaran was very professional and calm and thorough. I felt like he cared about my injury. I'm very happy I got referred to him, and the staff at the clinic are friendly and welcoming as well.
