I would recommend Dr Maharaj to anyone. A very caring and knowledgeable surgeon. He explains everything in detail and you know exactly what you have had done. He visited me twice a day while in hospital, including the weekend.

Dr Maharaj saved my husbands life in February 2020. My husband had been in motorcycle accident and trauma doctor had discharged him saying there’s nothing wrong with him until Dr Maharaj came in to check on his xrays and figured that something was seriously wrong. He requested an mri be done and saw that his C6 was broken and suffered severe nerve damage and serious spinal shock. He and his team worked efficiently to prepare my husband for an emergency operation and advised me through the process and was very supportive during the stay in hospital and even when he was moved to rehab and at home. We know God is a miracle worker but God used the hands and brains of Dr Maharaj and saved my husbands life today. If we had just listened to the trauma dr and taken my husband home then he would have been paralyzed today.

Dr Prashanth Maharaj has provided a phenomenal experience in terms of dedication, commitment and expertise in his area when dealing with my father's decompression surgery. He kept the family and patient well informed of all the associated risks prior to the operation and has proven to be amongst the few doctors we have encountered that remain passionate about their profession. He has definitely went the extra mile when treating my dad and gave us the assurance that my father was in good hands from day one. We are very appreciative of the way he handled my father's case.
