Inspirational. I have a chronic nerve injury that Dr. V knew so much about. He made a work out plan for me for the next 3 months. His injection helped. I'm walking again. Staff was very nice. Everyone is so eager to help. Great clinic!

I was very pleased with Dr V and all the staff at the clinic. Dr V is a very compassionate and caring person. He truly cares about his patients and really wants them to be pain free. Whenever I called or emailed, the team responded in a very quick manner and answered all questions very professionally. Finally a team I can trust and rely on. Dr V and all the staff at Bloor Pain Specialists really try to accommodate me especially coming from out of town. In my city, waiting period for RFA procedure is over a year. No long waiting period at BPS, they got me in within a couple weeks. Looking forward to get RFA for my back on Friday

Dr. V! He saved my dad. My dad used to barely move. He had trouble getting to the front door with his walker. Now he only uses his cane once in a while and he's walking fine. Well, almost fine, but waaaaaay better than before. Just from a cortisone shot in his disc. Thanks Dr. V

Quite possibly the nicest and more caring doctor I have ever met. Dr. V took care of my mom and now really central for us ever since she got cancer. Even though he treats pain, he has gone out of his way to refer and arrange for care with other doctors and the home care nurses. 100000% recommend Dr. V for anyone you care about.

Thank you Dr. V and thanks to the whole team. This is my 4th ablation in 3 years. I get to live life for about 8 or 9 months and then my neck hurts again. Like Dr. V says. It's like a "haircut" just kind of medical ;)

I came for my 4th radiofrequency abrasion procedure for my low back pain. This time it was Dr. V. Similar to Dr. Van in the past and Dr. Choo before that. Good everytime. The rest of the clinic staff really try hard for customer service too.

Dr. V spoke to us over the phone. He was clear and explained things very well. We're excited to come in for my husband's RFA procedure.

Biography

Ogi Visnjevac, MD, is an Interventional Pain Management Specialist at Cleveland Clinic Canada. Interventional pain management specialists use x-ray (fluoroscopy) or ultrasound to guide small needles into deep anatomic structures to identify which of those structures are responsible for each patient’s pain generation in order to establish a treatment plan. Treatment plans may involve a reduction in inflammation, regenerative therapies, or nerve-ablative techniques, in addition to collaboration with other specialties in a multidisciplinary capacity. Dr. Visnjevac has an extensive background in biologic therapy techniques, ultrasound-based techniques, visceral pain management and cancer pain interventions along with management of common musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain states. Born in Sarajevo and raised in Toronto, Dr. Visnjevac relocated to St. George’s University in Grenada to obtain his Doctor of Medicine. He went on to complete his residency in anesthesiology in New York before finishing his fellowship in pain management at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. During his time at Cleveland Clinic, he was awarded the Caregiver Award for his compassionate clinical care. Dr. Visnjevac is passionate about improving the quality of his patients’ lives. He is particularly interested in epidural steroid injections for acute sciatica. Patients often see a profound reduction in sciatica symptoms if they receive treatment in the first few weeks or months of symptom onset. A dedicated researcher, Dr. Visnjevac has been published in numerous medical books and journals and presented his findings at conferences across North America. He enjoys working in the community in a primary care setting and truly enjoys building a rapport with his patients. Dr. Visnjevac founded The Central America Relief Project, where he acted as president for ten years. He oversaw donations of medical supplies to Guatemala and El Salvador and managed Canadian volunteers. Dr. Visnjevac enjoys teaching and inspiring medical students, residents, and other interested students. He regularly gives lectures and teaches clinical workshops and clinical bedside education, which he feels is the most rewarding of the three. Dr. Visnjevac currently holds the role of Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at McMaster University’s Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management. When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Visnjevac loves spending time with his wife and kids. One of their favourite destinations is the Toronto Zoo.
