Wonderful bedside manner who thoroughly explains everything, even by drawing out pictures. I love that he's tech saavy and incredible responsive to my questions at all hours. I respect his opinions and suggestions. He is excellent at managing expectations and costs considering I had to pay out of pocket since IVF was not covered by my insurance.

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Pereira or his staff. Dr. Pereira is a special doctor, and one of the rare ones whose bedside manner equally parallels his incredible expertise. I have never felt so important and cared for as a patient, and I think Dr. Pereira's regular communication and quick responses to my inquiries, has a lot to do with it. During my time as Dr. Pereira's patient, I underwent emergency surgery for ovarian torsion. Dr. Pereira did not skip a beat making sure I was properly cared from the initial testing, to understanding my options, to answering my call at the crack of dawn when I knew I was in need of emergency surgery. I felt really lucky to have a gynecological surgeon, who was also a fertility specialist, in charge of my care, because I knew he would ensure my fertility future was well taken care of. He really is the best doctor, and it was bittersweet 'graduating' from his practice. Can not recommend him enough.

Words cannot express my gratitude to Dr. Pereira and his staff, Ms. Zeku and Ms. Jettoo, and nurses Ms. Christine Zotto and Ms.Sarah Fricke for all their assistance in the process of helping me to become pregnant. They always made themselves available to answer my questions and concerns. Dr. Pereira was always very thorough in explaining each procedure and very honest in regards to my treatment options. Furthermore, Nurse Ms. Fricke even looked for a nurse in my neighborhood who assisted me with part of my treatment. They made a challenging experience much easier, and I successfully became pregnant. I am now on my way to be a mother. I very strongly recommend Dr. Pereira and his practice to anyone in need of a fertility treatment.

Dr. Pereira is the most professional and genuine doctor I’ve ever seen. He took his time explaining all of my options in each appointment and made sure I understood next steps. I saw him personally at every appointment. He gave me his email address so I could contact him directly during our first appointment and he would always respond with an extremely detailed answer very promptly. He reached out to me on several occasions to see how I was feeling. His nurse, Crystal, is wonderful as well and very kind and responsive. I can’t say enough about him and highly recommend him. My husband and I saw him for 9 months and had two successful IUIs during that time.

Dr. Pereira was great. He was incredibly thorough with testing (and moved fast with testing, which was much appreciated) and took lots of time with consults. I never felt rushed as we developed plans, and he took time to explain the procedures, our results, his interpretation of our results, and the rationale for his recommendations. I really appreciated feeling involved and respected in the process. He was very responsive when I had concerns--after receiving some disappointing results at one stage of treatment, my husband and I called and were very distressed. He called back within 10-20 minutes and took time to explain the results (which it turns out were not as bad as we feared), and it was so reassuring. He is also a gynecological surgeon and so was able to perform a surgery when I had to have one as part of my treatment--being able to have that continuity of care was great. For fertility treatments it isn't only your particular physician that matters but the quality of the whole practice. The quality of the lab can influence results, and procedures are often completed by other doctors. I felt really comfortable with the quality of the entire practice and got the sense that the doctors collaborated quite a bit in making decisions about patients so you got the expertise of the crowd. Being in a larger practice also had pros such as an in-house genetics counselor. The nursing staff and admin staff were very responsive, and I always got calls back quickly when I had questions or concerns. The only slight negative in my whole experience was that monitoring hours sometimes got backed up so there could be a bit of a wait in the mornings, but this may partially be because I tended to show up towards the end of the monitoring window. Scheduled appointments always ran on time. We had success after our second round of IVF and plan to go back to Cornell and Dr. Pereira for any future treatments.

I could not be more grateful that i found Dr. Periera. He is so kind and warm, and i felt like i had someone invested in my journey with me. He would listen without judgment and was one of the more responsive doctors i have worked with. I was quite lucky and and at the ripe old age of 41 (soon to be 42), i had success with my first round of fertility meds and got pregnant. I was quite sad that after nine weeks i had to graduate to an OB, as i wish i could have continued with Dr. Periera, but i could not recommend him more highly.

Dr. Pereira gave me and my husband hope after we struggled with infertility for a year and a half. I came to see Dr. Pereira after going to another fertility clinic in midtown. The doctor at the midtown clinic insisted that I do IVF because I have PCOS, even though I was only 29 and had conceived naturally once before (though that ended in an early miscarriage). That doctor also did a FemVue test on me which showed that my left tube was blocked. After my miscarriage, I was desperate to get pregnant again and thinking how hard it would be to conceive with my left tube blocked, I jumped straight into IVF. Two egg retrievals and one embryo transfer later, I was still not pregnant. I was completely devastated and decided to get a second opinion from Dr. Pereira. Right away, Dr. Pereira performed an HSG test on me which showed that my left tube was completed fine! I had no idea that HSG was the "gold standard" and that the FemVue test is not always accurate. He also said IVF would have been his last resort for me given my history (e.g. ability to conceive naturally once before), and advised that I try Clomid+IUI. I thought there was no way the IUI was going to work given the fact that the transfer of a genetically normal embryo did not work for me the previous cycle. I was never happier to be so wrong! I am now four months pregnant after that IUI. Thank you, Dr. Pereira!

My husband & I are so thankful to have met Dr. Pereira. He and his professional staff are wonderful to deal with. We had a prior experience at another Fertility clinic in Midtown, and lets just say after such a traumatizing experience and feeling hopeless, Dr. Pereira really gave us a sense of trust that there are really great doctors with good intents, that actually do care, and can show compassion and patience. We had a lovely surprise on our first day of consultation, my husband and I had already been pregnant (about 5 weeks in) when we first met Dr. Pereira but the experience we had was like no other and we couldn't thank him enough for his kindness, patience and thoroughness. As I mentioned we had a much different experience at the prior clinic that left me completely sad and my husband speechless and skeptical of doctors and fertility clinics in general. So this whole experience with Dr. Pereira was great, he didn't make us feel any less welcomed because we had already been naturally conceived, he truly took great care of us because of the miscarriage we went through from our first experience, and had us graduate with care and made us feel ready for our second time miracle. I don't think I've said this enough, but thank you to Dr. Pereira and his staff at Weill Cornell.

My husband and I were lucky enough to receive a positive pregnancy test after our first round of IVF and we attribute most of our success to the amazing guidance and care provided by Dr. Pereira. When meeting with Dr. Pereira you can see how passionate he is and he really treats you like family. He is very accomplished in his research but is able to breakdown all information so you can easily understand. Dr. Pereira put us at ease every time we met with him. After I became pregnant I was sad to “graduate” from his fertility program because he is such a great doctor.

The nursing staff at CRM is also fantastic. Whenever I had a question about medications or procedures I received a call back the same day.

Lastly I cannot forget to mention the admin team. Megi (Dr. Pereira’s assistant) was great explaining everything to review with our insurance company so we could better plan for any out of pocket costs. The front desk is also so great, they are very personable and even remember your name when checking in. With the large number of patients in the CRM program I was always impressed.

I could not recommend CRM enough, because of them we know a family is in our future and we could not be more grateful.

Dr. Pereira is the best. He is kind, funny, knowledgable and makes you feel completely comfortable. He explains everything in digestible terms, truly gets to know his patient and spends significant time with each one. What I loved most was the direct contact with Dr. P and his assistant. I never waited long for a response, follow-up or phone call. He even promptly answered questions/helped regulate my thyroid levels when they skyrocketed once I got pregnant, which technically should have been handeled by my endocrin. I fortunately ended up getting pregnant naturally, but I would 100% recommend him to anyone in need of a fertility specialist. You will feel like you have a true partner during your journey.
