Dr. N. Wong is very patient, pleasant and knowledgeable. He explained the nuances of prednisone and is going to suggest to my family Dr that it is not needed as I have no inflammation markers in my blood since 2022. Thorough and kind.

This doctor has no empathy , He is judgmental and think he is the only doc that knows everything. I asked my family doc to refer me to another kidney specialist who cares about people. Not recommended.

Good experience. I did not feel rushed and have been sent for more tests. Nice to have a dr listen to my worries. Office is open and clean. Secretary is nice and actually returns calls. Only complaint is the wait for the appointment was a couple of months.

Grace is a very friendly and helpful secretary and has a good sense of responsibility. Dr. Wong has been helpful to explain to me the conditions I have and explains that the methotrexate and leflunomide I am taking for my psoriatic arthritis would not help with my knees because it is due to osteoarthritis and also those medicines would not help with my left shoulder rotator cuff tear. I appreciate him taking the time to explain this so I can better understand my body and the conditions I have. He redirected me to the appropriate treatments for those two non-autoimmune conditions with my family doctor and physiotherapist . His main area of focus is autoimmune rheumatic conditions so that's is what I see him for.

suffering of the sick affected by the terrible pain that affect their patients.

I think Dr. Newton Wong is too young to be a specialist of rheumatoid diseases, and he still needs to learn a lot of this specialty as this is a really tough diseases. I suffer from swelling with a marbled rash all over my legs and knees without any itchiness or painlessness during this six months. So, my family doctor referred me to him. However, after the telephone appointment, he refused me. He referred me to a dermatologist because he could not diagnose my problem until I said my Hong Kong specialist rheumatologist (who has outstanding experience in this field) thinks I have System Lupus Erythematosus. Very disappointed with this doctor

Dr. Wong is compassionate and helpful and is finally providing me with answers after years of telling general practitioners I felt ill and was in pain. It's entirely possible my positive review is being swayed by my happiness having received validation, but I still think it worth posting.

I have had in-person visits pre-Covid and telephone consults during Covid. Dr. Wong takes time to listen and to explain in clear, easy to understand language. It takes some time (months) to rule out and determine types/causes of my rheumatoid arthritis. This is not a fast journey but I am confident that I am getting the care that I need to manage this disease under Dr. Wong's care. Grace is excellent at following up with requisitions and prescriptions. As I age and my disease progresses, I am happy that Dr. Wong has my best interests in mind.
