My son suffered from asthma for the past eight years struggling with puffers, different medications, ups and downs, response and resistance, it’s been really out of hand
And recently my son had flu like symptoms together with asthma, and everything became confusing, his regular medications failed to comfort him or ease his tightness and when I consulted his doctor he recommended antibiotics, I had enough of antibiotics; so I decided to ask Dr. Nesreen of her opinion
she took detailed history of his condition and his previous medical history and put a detailed plan for him.

I was frustrated for feeling exhausted, mentally tired, unable to focus and having digestive issues. I have been on thyroid, acid re-flux and antidepressant pills for a long time now and wasn't feeling any better. I was looking for a doctor who not only treats symptoms but also looks in to the root causes to help patients. Well, when I read Dr. Nesreen Hassan's credentials online and the positive feedback, I thought she maybe able to help me and booked an appointment. In our initial meeting she explained functional medicine and the process. She conducted a thorough medical history timeline with me. Ordered a comprehensive test, some OHIP didn't cover, however I was reimbursed through my private insurance. I find Dr. Nesreen very knowledgeable and compassionate helping her patients. After the test results she recommended a customized food plan and provided some supplements. It's been only three weeks into my plan and I am already feeling healthier, energized and optimistic about my future. In this process I learned a lot from Dr. Nesreen and I love that she will be always there when I need her. Since we met I am cooking healthier for my family. I have already introduced my 13 year old daughter and she is doing well too, all thanks to Dr. Nesreen!

I found Doctor Hassan in the Sunlife insurance app and booked an appointment with her based on the positive feedback provide by other members of our insurance plan. I’ve been suffering from insomnia, low energy, trouble focussing, bloating and weight gain - at my first appointment Doctor Hassan interviewed
me based on the online initial online intake application and really listened to my concerns, problems and goals. She put me on a diet to eliminate certain foods that might be the root of my problems and recommended supplements that would help me heal my gut. I just had my second appointment and after two weeks and I’ve already dipped 6 lbs more importantly my energy levels have improved significantly- seems to be gluten was the root of my problems. I spent years following conventional medicine and never felt anything was being done except trying different medications. I been in Dr. Hassan's care for a little over a month. I hate medical treatments using chemical drugs and pain releif tablets. I was suffering disc problems. However, Knowing that the conventional treatment of back pain may include surgery, that I was hoping to go for -as a wish to git rid of the repeated illness. But didn't opt for it knowing this may cause short or long term side effects. So, I was looking for physicians who would apply evidence based medicine and unconventional treatment methods to avoid those non stop repeated temporary and harmful chemical drug treatments.
From the first time I was introduced to the Naturopathic medical approach with Dr. Nesreen and once she diagnosed my case and started the treatment I found my solution, pain got controlled with natrupathic treatments and no chemicals or anti-inflammatory drugs.
Amazingly, for years now I am not suffering those sever back pain strokes that used to leave me helplessly sleeping on the floor for a minimum of a week until I could be able to stand and walk again.
It is great to finally find a Doctor who know what to do based on medical experience, knowledge and great research record.
It is always nice to know your doctor is available whenever needed and treating you friendly with a smile while professionally providing the right service.
