I have been to dr Nemani a few times with my son. I have had issues every single time. First visit with a premature infant (he was 6 weeks old) she attempted to place an unwashed finger in his mouth. My son was on ranitidine and the prescription was messed up twice, the first time she blamed the clerical staff (they should not be renewing prescriptions they did not write). Second time the pharmacy contacted her about the mistake and she refused to change it. I find she has some less than educated suggestions, like rice cereal (has no nutritional value). Encouraged water consumption at 7 months (baby is breastfed ). She noticed his soft spot was basically closed at our last appt and freaked me out. Baby was a few days shy of 8 months old. According to all the research I have done since the appt 90% of soft spots close between 7 and 9 months. A pediatrician should know this? I have no issues monitoring my sons growth, in fact I enjoy it. Making it sound like something is wrong is not cool. I asked her about corrected age, he was born at 36 weeks +4 days, she stated no she doesnt do corrected age unless they are born 36 weeks and under.

Overall this Dr is super frustrating. Sadly we lack options for pediatric care in Brandon Manitoba.
