I'm 99% sure this was the doctor I had twice in the last week. The first time, I'd taken my 6-year-old in with severe stomach pain. After six hours, a urine sample and an x-ray, she said it was likely gas and to home & put ice on it. When my daughter got worse, two days later, I took her back in to a different doctor who now told us it was a bladder infection. Just one day after antibiotics, she felt so much better.

Which is why I was very pessimistic when I had to go to the ER last night and had this doctor again. After an x-ray, blood tests and a urine sample, (and six hours again), I was told my stomach pain might've been a tiny bit of stool stuck in my intestines. I've been in severe pain, crippled over for 3 days and told her I'd tried everything, including OTC laxatives & glycerin suppositories. So after I begged for something for the pain, she gave me a prescription (which I learned today is just more OTC laxatives) and two to take there which would give me relief in SIX HOURS. I drove home in excruciating pain and now, 12 hours later, with no relief. She is a trash doctor who either doesn't care enough to actually treat her patients properly or is fed up with the ER and should try somewhere else.

This appears to be an error. This Nageen Ahmed does not exist in Miramichi. Perhaps this person was meaning to leave a comment about Dr. Najneen Ahmed but she is one of the best, and kindest doctors I have ever met. I am not sure how much trust I would put in the opinion of someone who could not even bother to get the doctors name right.

She was ignorant and treated me with no respect. I take a lot of medication due to an auto immune disease. She said I take to much and by the way you have a kidney infection and prescribed me a medication that conflicted with one of the medications I was already taken. The pharmacy picked it up. I wasn't there looking for pain meds I was there for an infection. Either way people deserve to be treated with respect. She needs to go. By the way my specialist was furious and stated if she has a problem with what I prescribed she should have contact him on taken it out on me. She gives the other good ER staff a bad rep.
