Dr Cecchini is as uncaring as he is rude. Condescending, greedy, ignorant. Very poor experience with this clinic since the transition of ownership from Dr Alavi to Dr C. We have noticed consistently skyrocketing costs for various services that many have built a care-plan around, leaving long term patients stuck… all while planning new office expansions and what he said would come with a ‘much bigger sign on the building.” AVOID!

The rudest, most unprofessional, and arrogant doctor I have ever visited. Talks down on his patients, always incredibly late. He once asked me why HE prescribed me a medication during a follow-up. I was mind blown because I later found out it was a medication not recommended for my condition..

You are better off just googling your symptoms. This doctor is is a know it all except that he knows almost nothing. I would never go into a doctor's appointment thinking that I have all the answers and the doctor's opinion counts for nothing, but I would also not take the approach that this doctor has of completely discounting the patient's ability to have knowledge of their own body. If you like arrogant doctors then by all means see this guy. But if you actually want to get better I would suggest you go elsewhere.

I had a terrible experience with this doctor. He misdiagnosed me and prescribed the wrong medication. I voiced concerns on more than one occasion and he blew off my concerns. I'm contemplating filing a complains with the College of Physicians. Avoid him if you can.

Michael is a terrible Dr and even worse clinic owner. This clinic used to offer laser treatments for severe HS conditions at no cost, until Dr Michael took control and is now charging HS patients $300+ per laser session. This has left many patients who built their care/treatment plans around this laser therapy to suffer or fork over $8-10k/year to continue their treatments. When I asked why the sudden change, Dr C said the laser was elective, despite it being the only treatment a lot of HS sufferers have found benefit from. When I asked for other options to contours treatment that do not have enormous costs, Dr C stated ‘scalpel’ work only option. Complete greed and arrogance from this piece of work, and no longer the same patient focused care this clinic used to be known for under Dr Alavi. Dr Michael Cecchini the worst example of what our healthcare system produces. Avoid.

Superb Doctor. He removed a mole from my face and had stitches to close the cut. I have no scar. Thank you so much Doc for your kindness and expertise. The people in the clinic are extremely friendly, helpful and kind as well. Thanks to the entire team!

I just left Dr. Cecchini's office feeling more frustrated than ever. So not helpful and a total waste of my time. I probably interacted with him for less than 10 minutes and majority of the time he was talking to the resident who I spoke to first while waiting for Dr. Cecchini to complete another procedure. He pretty much just prescribed me some cream that most likely won't help at all based on a previous condition and gave me a bunch of free samples. They did not take the time to learn about my skin concerns and how to address it on a permanent basis.

Wonderful experience! Dr. Cecchini was a wonderful surgeon, and the staff was always helpful and kind. They ensured I had a smooth prep, surgery, and follow-up. I am so glad I chose York Dermatology Clinic & Research Centre and would highly recommend to anyone.

agree with other complaints on here .. Dr C doesn't listen to my concerns, never stops to hear 1 word, just blabbs on and pushes immune suppressant drugs. sent me home in pain after surgery without meds etc etc etc
