Biography

I completed my pediatric residency training at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, then completed fellowships in both pediatric cardiology and pediatric critical care medicine at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, affiliated with the University of Michigan. After training, I spent 2 years at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago as a faculty member of Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety at Northwestern University. My research interests include quality improvement in the cardiac intensive care unit, particularly in the identification and implementation of best practice of postoperative care for children following cardiac surgery, and optimizing neurodevelopmental outcomes in neonates following cardiac surgery.
