Unsure what the last reviewer was talking about because her clinic was shut for much of December so I’m not sure when they saw Mel. I’m really grateful that I got to see Mel with my child who fitted us in to a cancellation spot. We are a complex family and felt very supported and continue to see her. Very grateful to keep seeing her.

Provided ultimatums instead of solutions, seemed personally inconvenienced during the session and had little to no regard for the well-being of the patient. Sarcastic, smug and belligerent demeanour during the interaction with the child.

This woman is the unfortunate consequence of an underfunded and overwhelmed mental healthcare system in SA. Started out as a student working for the public system, and now profiting through their own business model.

A clinical disgrace.

My son sees drturner and has for about 4 years. He has autism level 2 and other mental health problems. I really like seeing her, he is much happier, we are listened too, we get help to understand ndis and review of his meds. She’s really friendly and I don’t feel like I’m a bad mum. Thanks

Saw Dr Turner in 2014 when I was 17, before she went to private practice. I believe if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be where I am now. Best psychiatrist around and children and youth are lucky to have her. -Ashley
