Two thumbs down! The doctor breezed in and was just like 'you need a full knee replacement'. Dr. Levine couldn't have cared less about me or my situation. He talked down to me using all medical jargon. No compassion. It is what it is and I want to get it fixed but need to understand what all my options are. When I apologized for crying and explained that I'd lost my husband recently, Dr. Levine just pushed the knee replacement got out of there as quickly as he could, telling me I should make another appointment to see his co-worker that specializes in ACL tears. WHY didn't they schedule me with that doctor when I told them I'd torn my ACL when making the appointment? The visit was almost $600 and I left feeling defeated, taken advantage of, and belittled. I'll never go back there or to any Resurgens office simply based off that one visit and how SMALL and INSIGNIFICANT Dr. Levine made me feel. If only doctors actually cared anymore!

Dr Levine replaced my left knee in August 2021. I had a great experience with the Resurgens Cumming office. Dr. Levine was a wonderful surgeon and took the time to walk me through all of the things that would happen and what I needed to do. The staff was always helpful, warm and friendly. They ensured I had a smooth prep, surgery, and follow-ups. I am so glad I chose Resurgens and would highly recommend Dr. Levine to anyone.

A year passed since my total hip replacement and it was time for the annual checkup. Having moved from Georgia, it was a Texas surgeon who reviewed the before and current x-rays of my hip. He kept commenting , "That hip was horrible. Horrible!" I went out the door with the assurance that all is well with the replacement. Dr. Levine performed a difficult procedure with skill and compassion. No complications. My life is so much better.

From my first visit to my last Dr. Levine was very professional thorough and attended to my needs as a patient. Surgery was scheduled for knee replacement. The preparation for this surgery was outstanding. Every effort was made to make sure I was comfortable with the whole experience. He explained exactly what was going to happen and on the morning of surgery everything went exactly as he said. I am very happy with the results I am now three months postop and I’m pain free no complications. I am now considering doing my right knee in the near future. I would recommend Dr. Levine to anybody including my family!

Great experience getting a hip replacement performed by Dr. Levine 6 weeks ago. I am VERY happy with the outcome. No more pain, mobility back and all healed up! Excellent surgeon!

If you ask any questions, make sure you mean it and not just say it because you have to ask it. Listen to the patient especially day of surgery and if they said they fell and are now hurting. Take the time to Stop and think about what you just heard. What do you do now after hearing this? Any questions?????

This is the Doctor you want for your Hip Replacement! Dr. Levine has replaced both of my hips this year, the first in February and the second in November. I was in a serious car accident a few years back and the trauma from that finally caught up with my hips. My experience for both replacements was Excellent. Obviously, I was nervous and somewhat apprehensive, but Dr. Levine took excellent time and care to make sure I was comfortable for both surgeries. Both surgeries as well as follow-up brought great improvements with what I consider minimal downtime. Dr Levine as well as his staff at Resurgens provided the most caring and professional experience I could imagine. Hip surgery is not something that one would likely sign up for with no real need, but I would highly recommend Dr. Levine if you need him!

I went to the doctor thinking I had back issues, and had an MRI. Luckily, Dr. Levine caught the real problem with my hip, and five weeks later, I am back at work.
