Dr. Velez is a GREAT surgeon! After being in pain for over a year and having gone through multiple injections, trying PT, etc. I had no relief. He reviewed my MRI, took the time to explain what was wrong and what my options were. My only regret not having seen him sooner, am grateful to him to have my life back. He truly is remarkable and has a great bedside manner. His staff and office personnel could not be nicer nor more helpful! I highly recommend Dr. Velez.

I had two spine surgery's done by this Doctor. One year after the last major surgery, I remain in pain. Fusing two vertebrae he is now indifferent to the pain I am in. Instead of trying to find ways to help me he wants to blame me for my pain. I took pain pills so they make me have pain? I could not afford $80 to $150 3 times per week for physical therapy it is my fault I am in pain? Instead of ordering an MRI to see if it is possible there may be additional problems that he missed, as with my first surgery. He did not schedule any further appointments. I can see him if I want to? Why would I want to see him again he is doing nothing for me and has no idea how to help! I would not recommend him for anyone. As the old saying goes let the buyer beware.

The best doctor I have ever been to. An excellent surgeon with the best bedside manor ever! I highly recommend Dr. Velez.

Wow! This Doctor has the magic touch. After several visits, tests (x-Rays & MRI) he determined that being a Rhumitoid Arthritis sufferer for 40 years and ongoing spinal stenosis, a Coflex non-fusion procedure was the best solution. He was correct and this patient was up and about in 4 hours after the operation and went home the next day! The severe pain of 4 years vanished immediately. Dr. Velez is highly recommended.
