She is honestly incredible and I am not sure where I would be if I didn't seek her help and expertise. She helped me to understand that my experiences and feeling were valid and also something that I could work through and transform from. Life changing.

Marlena is the best psychologist I have ever spoken with. I always feel so cared for when I talk with her. She is extremely knowledgeable and skilled and is a great listener. She has a great way of balancing making me feel like my responses make sense while helping me to reflect on ways I could do things differently to improve my situation. I would go to Marlena in the future any time I am struggling. She is amazing!

I lived with so much physical and verbal abuse growing up, and then in my 28 year marriage.
A car accident led me to Marlena… to this day, I swear had it not been for her knowledge and caring approach…. I would not be sharing this with you all today… Thank you Marlena!

Marlena is amazing and I am so thankful that I went to her and continue to talk to her monthly. She took away all of the fears I had about going to therapy and genuinely makes me feel comfortable. She has helped me work through a lot of trauma and had helped me connect a lot of things from my past to present issues I have been having that I never would have done myself, which has helped me move forward. She is so caring and she really listens and provides me with such great resources to use in between appointments. Like someone else said below, I also feel lighter after each appointment and feel more positive each time we talk. I highly highly recommend Marlena.

I am so thankful that my friend pushed me to see Marlena (Dr. Szpunar). I'd tried therapy a couple times before and didn't get much out of it or felt worse, but this experience was so different. I felt comfortable from the first session. Marlena is genuine, kind, lovely and she knows her stuff. She gets things right away and I never felt like I had to keep explaining. She guided me through exercises that helped me to understand things that I never put together before and I'd always leave feeling lighter. It look a while, but it's due to Marlena that I now like myself and care about myself for the first time. I honestly don't think that I would still be here if it wasn't for her. My family is so happy I went. If you're in a similar spot you should definitely go.

I have been seeing Dr. Szpunar for over 2 years, from 1-2 times per week and I would confidently say that she has helped me immensely. I struggle with depression, anxiety and BPD, which is why I sought out therapy. She has exceptional ability to remember details that I have provided and is able to use them in a relevant way as we work through different topics. She is gentle and kind in her approach , but still supportive and structured enough to guide me through making process. I have had several therapists and she is the most receptive and attentive by far, as well as being appropriately personable/ compassionate while maintaining professionalism.
