I can't thank Dr. R enough. She restored my quality of life. I saw her in December 2023. Though, I had Total knee replacment in May 2023 inNew Hampshire, I was still having trouble when I arrived in Hawaii. She immediately looked at my knee and commented she didn't know how I was walking. My surgery had failed. She stated she was booked for the whole month of January, but said I needed surgery Asap.
She operated January 23, 2024. I saw her for postop March 17, and was given a clean bill of health. I could now resume my walks, and I have never felt better. I highly recommend Dr Rassmussen. She is a remarkable Dr and one of Hawaii's finest!

I have had three surgeries done by Dr. Linda Rasmussen due to old injuries and osteoarthritis; a right knee replacement in 2021, a right hip replacement in 2022 and recently my left hip replacement n 2023.
Dr. Rasmussen did an excellent job with all three procedures and am very happy with the results. I am finally able to walk without any discomfort and without the balance and instability issues that I was experiencing over the years. I'm finally able to play golf and tennis again thanks to here. Her office staff was very helpful and the nurses and surgical staff at Castle Adventist Hospital did a wonderful job taking care of me. I can't thank Dr. Rasmussen and everybody enough.

I am a 30 year old patient who had a Total Hip Replacement performed by Dr. Rasmussen.

Dr. Rasmussen is an absolute professional and genius at her craft. At my previous Ortho Clinic it felt like I wasn't getting proper care or medical advice. I had a previous hip scope that made things worse, and lost the trust of my previous ortho specialist with the advice he was giving me. I made the switch Dr. Rasmussen's clinic, and the difference was night and day. She immediately diagnosed my issues, and laid out a list of options for me to choose from, including Total Hip Replacement. Being so young, I never thought THR was an option, but Dr. Rasmussen assuaged my fears and preconceptions. Her lengthy experience performing the operation, detailed explanation of the parts she uses, and control of the OR convinced me. Surgery was fast and her recovery protocols for me helped tremendously. I am convinced Dr. Rasmussen is one of the best surgeons in the country performing this operation. My quality of life is so much better since surgery. Thank you so, so much Dr. R!

If any young patients are suffering from quality of life issues like I was with their hips and had no other surgery or physical therapy options, please reconsider THR, especially with Dr. Rasmussen.

Dr. Rasmussen is very knowledgeable and worked around some of my scheduling issues enabling me to take some planned trips and get my surgery done too. She is a great surgeon that you can trust.

I am so fortunate that Dr. Rasmussen was on call the day I fell off my bike and broke the ball off the top of my femur. She recommended a total hip replacement as the best solution for my active lifestyle. Dr. Rasmussen has so much experience with hip replacements that the procedure was minimally invasive and done so skillfully that I was back to my life activities with a shiny new titanium hip in record time. Her clear explanations and practical support were so helpful in my understanding of the operation, recovery and physical therapy. Thank you so much Dr. Rasmussen for taking such expert care of me! Dr. Rasmussen's Physician Assistant, Flora, is amazing as well! She was very knowledgeable and a huge help in getting me back on my feet!

I had a left hip replacement a month ago and cannot say enough about how smoothly it went and how successful it turned out. I urge anyone suffering from hip pain to not delay and at least get an x-ray and a diagnosis. And if a hip replacement is the suggested remedy, don't wait. A positive attitude plays an essential role in how quick your recovery will be. Dr. Rassmussen has done countless hip surgeries and I can whole-heartedly recommend her.
