I am from Maui. I am so happy that my husband registered us for one of Dr. Rasmussen's seminars. Her sincerity, conviction and knowledge of what she can do to make me better was what gave me the confidence to have the surgery. Both my knees were bad. After hearing her, I was all in and I've had both knees done. The first in March and two months later, the second knee. If you thinking about doing one knee, just do it, you'll be so happy. Then if you doubting that you could handle another knee surgery, just get it done. Now what to expect, it will be so much easier. Dr. Rasmussen helped me to make better plans for my 60th Birthday next year.

Dr. Rasmussen performed 2 hip replacements in 2019 and after her recent exam said they are doing very well, with another follow up in 4 years. I was so pleased to hear this. I've been able to do so much more since the surgery. More activity resulted in some weight loss, another benefit from the surgeries. I received excellent care from Dr. Rasmussen and will look forward to good results at the 4 yr checkup.

I’m 71 years old and one month out from a knee replacement by Dr. Rasmussen. I couldn’t be happier with the process. I was cautious when I saw her for a consultation but she won me over. She listened carefully, asked questions about my knee and reviewed my x-ray with me. She was caring, confident and patient. She scheduled surgery at my earliest availability. Despite living in town, I was happy to have my surgery at Castle. The staff are terrific, parking is free and every step of the process was organized and efficient. Dr. Rasmussen has her own Castle surgical team. My surgery took only 45 minutes and I was in my room by lunchtime. The low carb diet Dr. Rasmussen prescribes was a challenge but my knee did great: minimal redness and swelling of my knee/leg. I’m a month out but walking without a cane, taking stairs easily, managing my pain with tylenol/naprosyn and back in the ocean. I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. I think Dr. Rasmussen is tops for knee replacements.

I am a 60-year old who had a total knee replacement back in Colorado in 2014. Having that experience I was hesitant to have my hips replaced but reached the point where I could no longer take the pain. Dr. Rasmussen performed bilateral hip replacements this year 4 months apart between the left and right. There is no comparison to the experiences between hips and knees, hips are such easier recoveries. I was back working on a limited schedule in just a week as long as I took frequent breaks to not sit at my desk too long, and back to the beach after 3 weeks where before walking in sand was extremely painful with hip arthritis. Dr. Rasmussen is especially skilled at operating on overweight patients such as myself where other surgeons might have turned me away. Her postop low carb/limited gluten recommendations were spot on with speeding wound healing and I've lost almost 40 pounds since moving to Hawaii and having both hips now repaired. This after decades of struggling with weight loss. Thank you Dr. Rasmussen. The Castle team for both hips was great even in this Covid world we live in. My recommendation is to be sure you are fully Covid vaccinated, then go have your hips replaced. You won't regret it.

Look no further! I heard great things about Dr.Rasmussen so I booked my appointment. Scheduling was easy and when I met her she was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. She helped me understand what was going on with my knee. I have 3 torn meniscus, slight arthritis and a bakers cyst. I was walking like normal within a month . So grateful for her.

I am 70 Years old and have had two knees that had deterioted for the past 8 years. On my first visit with Dr Rasmussen, X-rays indicated bone on bone with spurs condition. Doctor immediately wasted no time & recommended complete knee replacements. Castle Bone & Joint Center program navigates a seamless, efficient system of pre-surgery education, one stop shop for pre-op procedures, two night hospital stay with staff that works closely under the direction of Dr Rasmussen. It was fun & inspiring to have a group lunch & physical therapy with fellow patients that had the same type of surgery as you, A low carb diet was offered in your hospital stay & as well as recommended by Dr Rasmussen to assist in a healthy recovery with less inflammation for healing, Castle Medical Cental Physical Therapy team are outstanding. Under the leadership of Dr Rasmussen & her team, as patients we are on the road to recovery - returning to activities that brings us joy & true satisfaction. Mahalo Nui 🌺

Dr. Rasmussen perform Arthroscopic knee surgery on my right knee on Oct. 4, 2017. Immediately after surgery I had No Pain. Six weeks after surgery I am back to my normal life & living again (after suffering from knee pain since Sept. 2016). I found Dr. Rasmussen compassionate & sincere. Her technical expertise is amazing. I call her "Dr. Super Surgeon". She made sure I went to a good physical therapist after surgery and it was a joy to see her again at my 5 week post op appointment. Thank you Dr. Rasmussen for giving me my life back!

Dr. Linda Rasmussen did my first knee full knee replacement & the second knee Makoplasty just 6 weeks later. All went extremely well. Her exceptional skills, experience, post-op care in the hospital, bed-side manner, & follow-up were wonderful. Scars are minimal! There is no pain in my knees now & I even ride my bike around town & play golf only 4 weeks after the last knee surgery. I should have done it 10 years ago! Dr. R is a PRO & has given me the QUALITY OF LIFE back that I was missing. At 65 I can now sit on floor with my preschool grandkids!
