The best GP I have ever had! She is awesome ,she takes her time and listens and is super nice. Thankful for finding her!! :)

I have had a fantastic experience with Dr.Powys. I feel that she listens and is attentive to my concerns and questions. I found her by chance several months ago.. and though its taken awhile with test and such to get things rolling she has been amazing.

continuation........so then they say no they can't fit me in.......omg I was the only person there. So I said I am going to have to fine another doctor this is silly. So I requested my disk of records that I brought in and I think I was kept waiting because I said I'm going to find another doctor, as the receptionist came back with other stuff aside from my disk. Very poor rating for customer service.

I was really dissapointed with my experience with Dr. Powy. I found her to be artificially friendly, and incredibly unprofessional. I overheard her talking rudely about another patient while waiting in reception, and then about me when she stepped out of the room during my appointment! Her staff only schedules appointments weeks, sometimes months out, so good luck getting to see her if you have any sense of urgency. She does not seem to care for her patients at all, and was annoyed/rushed everytime I saw her.

My experience with Dr. Powys has been very positive. She seems interested in what is going on with my health and answers my questions. I'm a new patient (this year) so don't expect her to find out everything about me in a couple of visits. It takes quite a while for doctors to get to know you and remember who you are when they don't see you often and have hundreds of patients to deal with. She is quite personable, friendly, and shows interest in helping me as her patient. I'm very happy to have her as my doctor after the last two young doctors I had left their practise.

My first experience with her was "okay" I thought she was kind etc. but I have a myriad of health concerns including high blood pressure. I have seen her three times now and not once has she checked my blood pressure, she did give me my BP medication without checking it. I would think she would like a baseline as she has no previous records from my old doctor. The last time I saw her, she was affable, but did alot of "are you the girl with the sister that is on Victoza" and are you the girl with....um, no. Perhaps listening rather than assuming I am someone else would be better. She is kind, but needs to slow down and get to know her patients!!!!

She seems very knowledgable,efficient and friendly.
great combination in a GP. I found her by accident,and am happy I did.I understand her practice filled up in only a few months, no surprise there.

I had a terrible experience. She is the 5 minute type doctor that just wants to get rid of you the faster she can.
No attention to what the patient has to say at all.
I have a really bad TMJ that needs referral to a orthodontist and instead she just said that I should take an aspirin.
I also have chondromalacia and instead of giving me a real referral for a physiotherapist, she just gave me a "fake" referral without stamp or anything that only works for that clinic.
Don't go! It's really a waste of your time!

very scatter brained has no real concern about her patients well being overall worst expierance i have ever had in a doctors office do not reccomend

Dr. Powys has been fantastic thus far. She is attentive, thorough and doesn't dismiss your concerns. I am really happy I managed to get a spot with her regular practice.
