I went in to this appointment finally hoping I could express my concerns (cancer) with a doctor who could find some answers.. Boy was I wrong. She cut me off when I started explaining the symptoms I’ve been having for 2 years. She made me redo blood work after just having it done, cause she didn’t “believe” the previous. Then she books me appointment 2 months later and says she’ll give me results then. What a massive joke. Would NOT recommend EVER!

She was my gynaecologist for about 1 year and a half. She makes you feel like you are the issue… she don’t listen and laugh in your face when you share real concern of yours , she absolutely have no empathy towards her patients! One advice: run and run fast!!

This doctor was completely dismissive of my issues. Barely asked me any questions, only came up with one treatment option. Then says there will be a phone follow up in 3 months. The receptionist gave me a date for the phone call (didn’t ask if the date worked for me) with no time on it. When I asked what time she said the doctor’s schedule was erratic so it could be any time that day. This doctor wants to make money by doing the least about possible for her patients.

My husband and I went through a very traumatic experience. During this, Dr. Arsenault was supportive and professional. We couldn’t have asked for a better doctor to have helped us through this difficult situation.

I went to this doctor some years ago because there was uterine cancer in my family. First of all, she nearly laughed at me when I started crying because I was nervous and stress. She also was supposed to do a gynaecological exam and did not do it, postponed it. Finally, she said I had to have a colposcopy. I left her office even more stressed than going in. So, I eventually went for the colposcopy at the hospital. It was sooo painful, that I was about to faint. She had taken the wrong speculum, had to take another one. At some point, I did not hear them anymore and they got scared I was definitely fainting. Once she was done, she did not see me alone, but with a student doctor (wasn't given a choice). Though all results were good, she recommended a full hysterectomy with ovaries. Little information about the procedure, nor the consequences. That's when I decided to ask to see another specialist. I was sent to a gynaecologist oncologist. 4 years down, I am seen every 6 months by a great doctor. I will at some point, as a measure of prevention, be operated on, but it will be by a real caring and professional specialist, who could see I had a few years of very low risk. It makes a big difference. Oh! And before I forget, while she (Dr. Arsenault) was talking about the operation she wanted to perform, she said, between two sentences : « And if I happen to cut the bladder or muscles around it, we'll just stitch them back together »... makes you feel confident, doesn't it. I could tell a lot more, but I'll stop here and just recommend you stay away from her.

My sister is bleeding for the 3rd time. She just gave her medication and didn’t clean up her uterus....even my family doctor’s thought it was a dumb move!!!! Beware ....she sucks bad!!!

Really disappointed with my appointment. I had a 16 week ultrasound booked that I had been anticipating for weeks and upon arrival, Karine decided to cancel my ultrasound and rebook it for 4 weeks later once I was 20 weeks. I explained that I was experiencing anxiety and the ultrasound would have been reassuring for me, but she showed a lack of compassion and rushed me out of the clinic. The clinic was not busy, and I know there was time for the ultrasound since it had already been booked. She was also quite short with me when I asked questions and she was not very informative. I left feeling very emotional and with very little guidance. I will not be returning to Dr. Arsenault.
