I appreciated the clean facility, the nice nurse, and the quick wait time. What I didn't appreciate was waiting two years for an appointment that barely lasted 90 seconds, being spoken at instead of spoken to, and quickly "diagnosing" me with sometime I am fairly confident I don't have, while prescribing me things I've already tried that didn't work for me. I have been dealing with a skin condition for about a decade and this was my first time getting to see a dermatologist for it, and it was the biggest medical let down I've ever experienced. He basically yelled the entire time and when I tried to ask questions, he seemed shocked that I had anything to say. Overall, it was a really demeaning experience and a waste of time.

Travelled 8 hours to see him but he wouldn’t remove the issue. Wanted me co come back in a week because he has a special day for that… 8 hour drive each way plus hotels

Dr. Mercer is very knowledgeable and I know that when I leave his office, I am confident in his diagnosis. I know when I go to see him, it’s professional and not a social visit. In this COVID pandemic, he has remained open to see his patients. Thanks for caring.

Dr. Mercer is probably a very smart guy who is an expert in dermatology. But my experience seeing him was very unpleasant. He raced in and out of the room, didn't ask me my name, did not make any eye contact with me, and barely gave me a chance to answer his questions before asking me another. I would not recommend Dr. Mercer.

Staff very pleasant, office fairly clean, reasonably wait time. Found Dr Mercer to be very curt and hyper. No eye contact at all. Very knowledgeable, but comes across as very rushed, loud and blunt which could be mistaken as rude manners by some people. Was given handouts to read from the internet (New Zealand) for my problem.

Dr.mercer is an excellent doctor. I have seen him now for the past few years first in corner brook now i travel to st.johns for appointments. He is blunt and to the point and I very much appreciate that. Both him and his staff are very professional.

Did not get a follow up appointment, when I called to ask about getting a refill on my prescription I was told I had to get another referral. Not pleased.

No idea about knowledge very disappointed that I could not reach him after several tries when my conditioned worsened ended up gong to emergency. This rating needs to change to St. John’s
