Can not connect to get appointment or anything just goes to voice-mail nice assistance that dosent pick up calls ever not once when i called few like what do you get payed to do if you never going to pick your phone

Had an amazing appointment with Dr Pasternak and his team today. From the moment I arrived at the hospital, I was greeted with smiling and kind faces. Everything went smoothly, on time and exceeded my expectations. Very compassionate, understanding and patient. I'm so grateful for them.

Dr. Pasternak was friendly, down-to-earth, empathetic. Today was my first time meeting him for a surgical consult and I felt that he truly cared about me and my situation. It was an absolute breath of fresh air and so validating after being dismissed by my family doctor. An amazing experience. He’ll be performing my adrenalectomy and I know I’ll be in good hands.

I was referred to Dr. Pasternak by my Endocrinologist for a Thyroid situation and he was awesome. So caring and kind. He spent his time explaining my condition and I appreciated that very much. You can tell that his patients mean A LOT to him. Sadly, I have to chime in (as everyone else has before me) about how poorly managed he is by his assistant/staff person - Holly. She is the absolute worst! I have never in my life experienced such incompetence, disorganization, and lack of respect for patients in any professional medical setting, as I have with this woman. Where on earth did they find her??? I know that in my professional life, if I ever spoke to or treated clients in this manner, I would be fired immediately. Yet, from reading the other reviews, here she still sits. Unbelievable. I have tried to keep my polite disposition with her with every encounter via phone, email and in person but I'm getting to the point where I may have to look for a new surgeon. After trying to tell her repeadedly that she lost my requisition forms and failed to schedule repeat appointments for me with the doctor, she blurted out "You're not my only patient, you know!" and on another occasion lied about sending a requisition form through. When the hospital repeatedly told me to keep contacting her to get it done, she blocked my email address for over a month, so that I couldn't communicate with her. I had to come down to the office in order to handle my tests in person. Only to overhear another patient speaking to their caregiver sitting with them that Holly blocked their email address too! I was floored. Never heard of this happening before, until this office.
It makes me so anxious because I truly love Dr. Pasternak and his care for me. I'd hate to have to leave him because of Holly. *Please find kind and professional people to look after this Doctor ASAP! He deserves the best person managing him*
Wish I knew where to report such actions in the medical community. This office is in desperate need of assistance. Holly must go!

Dr. Jesse Pasternak is a very nice, warm, kind man. I have enjoyed meeting with him and his genuine manner put me at ease immediately. I have had trouble with Holly though. She is disorganized and not too friendly. Generally a good experience.

After several years of blood tests showing higher levels of calcium and PTH and bone density scans showing increased osteoporosis I was referred to a local ENT doctor for a consultation. After describing surgery that would take 3 - 4 hours, opening both sides of my neck and possibly not finding all the bad parathyroid glands I decided that since I’m 85 years of age it would be too risky and I would just forget about surgery. My son did some research and came up with the name of Dr. Pasternak in Toronto. I asked my endocrinologist if she would send a referral and within weeks I had an appointment and 10 weeks later I had the surgery. I cannot say enough how grateful and impressed I am with Dr. Pasternak, he is an amazing surgeon and a wonderful caring human being. It is exactly two weeks since I had the operation that removed three of my parathyroid glands and I feel incredible, thanks to Dr. Pasternak and his surgical team.

I totally agree with the last person that Holly needs to be replaced. She is arrogant, sarcastic & overall very rude. Dr Pasternak is the absolute best.
