I thought that maybe my family doctor was just taking long to get back to me on results since all she suggested was Physio because there was no autoimmune reasons for my unknown swelling. Nope. She didn't even send my doctor the results of my tests nor the suggestions we discussed during our talk. The appointment was the 31st of March. I called a week ago and no one returned my call. I waited so long for this appointment, I wish I had seen someone else. It's like as soon as she saw all the possible autoimmune tests came out negative my appointment nor my situation no longer mattered. I think she forgot one important thing, if you're going to send someone for ultrasounds and other things for inflammation. Remember to tell them not to take naproxen if you prescribed it to them for the least of 5 days before an appointment :)

I help translate for my mum when she sees Dr. Shu for her RA.
As a nurse myself, I think she is a smart Doc and seems always on the ball. Thanks Dr. Shu!

She was recommended by friends and I did find her overall knowledge, quality and professionalism are quite satisfactory. She gives clear explanation and instructions while providing very reasonable accommdations with regards to wha a partience will need. I recommend this doctor.

Having a rare autoimmune disease is devastating on many levels. I liked how she was on top of my tests and seemed very knowledgeable about my disease. Having done a lot of research on the subject myself I trust her. Overall I’d say a very good experience. I feel she will definitely spend time with you when it will make a difference.

She is so inpatient and arrogant! Our interview is by telephone. She did not spend 5 minutes to talk to me and rushed to move to another patient. She refused to answer my specific question about my blood test result. She said to me she has reviewed it and it is waster of time for both of us that I asked that specific question. She is arrogant! When I had questions on what she said she lost patience and just discharge me.

Been with Dr Shu for over a year now. Would recommend for sure. She is knowledgeable and thorough. Also will give you the referrals you need and investigate any issues, as well as listen to your concerns. She also is willing to answer questions. One tip though is to make sure you get all your important questions out at the beginning of the visit. She tends to rush a bit near the end of the visit (I presume to stay on track), but not a big deal. Receptionists are mostly good and visits are pretty easy to book, except for one of the receptionists who I've witness throw temper tantrums at patients. But just use other ones and you'll be fine.

Really smart doctor. She seems to know a lot about my rare disease. When my blood work was abnormal she was on it the same day. Makes me feel like I am in good hands!
