Dr. Jack is an amazing counselor with an uncanny ability to help couples hear each other like never before. I especially appreciate his ability to provide clinical advice rooted in the fundamental principles of the Christian faith. I would recommend Dr. Jack for everyone.

Dr. Nealon is balanced and objective as he keeps you, your life, relationship, career goals and the myriad of possibilities in mind. He is sensitive to what a person and his/her environment brings to a situation and is able to assist in getting the best personal and professional result. Sometimes we have barriers or patterns that no longer serve us well, Dr. Nealon's approach helps to break those cycles and write new scripts.

Dr. Nealon counseled me through my separation and divorce from 2011 to 2014. I found him to be smart, sensitive, kind, and gentle in his approach. I could tell after a few sessions that he had years of experience in relationship counseling. What sets him apart from other counselors I had seen in the past is that he meets you where you are and keeps growing with you throughout the process of counseling. He always makes himself available to his clients. He's seen and heard it all with regards to relationship issues. I'm also able to speak to him about the religious perspective of marriage and relationships. He is flexible and yet has a way of guiding one to a healthy decision. I continue to see Dr. Nealon from time to time and highly recommend him.

At the suggestion of a dear friend, I made an appointment with Dr. Jack for help during a very difficult time. My spouse had severe addictions, over a very long time, which created a profound and negative impact on our marriage and children. Most people do not understand the chaotic, anxiety producing world one lives in when living with an addict. I was reluctant at first because I (and my husband) had already seen several counselors and received little help and direction. Dr. Jack proved to be amazing... very kind, patient, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I finally had a safe place to talk, with a trusted counselor, who could really help me. We began developing a strategic plan to stop the cycle of dysfunction and begin to heal. For the first time in over 15 years, I began to see options and pathways to a healthier life. And Dr. Jack gave me tools to help me cope with the situation. Today, I am in such a good place and I thank Dr. Jack for guiding me there. If you are considering Dr. Jack, I highly encourage you to call him. He is a talented, gifted counselor who truly cares about his clients. He is super convenient too -- offering evening and weekend appointments -- always there when I need him. Best to you on your journey! <3

I have been dealing with Adult ADD and depression issues for many years. I have been in therapy with several therapists/counselors in the Maryland area. I received minimal help, but I ultimately discontinued the therapy.
A few years later, I began to experience great pressures from working with and caring for ailing parents, along with other life pressures. In addition to the Adult ADD, my anxiety and depression became exacerbated.
I decided I needed additional therapy. I found Dr. Jack Nealon. Dr. Jack is a very caring therapist who listens to my life story and concerns. Dr. Jack is extremely knowledgeable about the many issues I face in life. I am learning a great deal about myself and the reasons why I react to situations in the manner that I do.
I highly recommend Dr. Jack to anyone who would like to get a thorough understanding of why they are constantly acting and reacting a certain way. He will give you meaningful insight about your life and tools to create a better way to handle life matters.

Went for marriage counseling. The marriage was emotionally abusive at the time. He would dismiss everything I said and I would go home to deal with more abuse from my spouse. For some reason, he felt like attacking me in front of my abusive spouse was the solution. He would make up things I said or did. He told me I was lying about my dad being a nice guy and said my dad nust have been abusive. Huh?? I have never mentioned anything about my dad, you cant just assume my dad was abusive because of some weird theory in your head. Especially after I told him he was not. Even my spouse admitted he thought it was crazy. Eventually we started seeing someone else and the difference was amazing. The new doctor actually confronted and addressed my spouses abusive behaviour and HELPED him with it. My husband was actually relieved someone helped him and is just a happier person now. My husband literally told Dr. Nealon to his face, "I don't know how to stop raging" basically begging for help and Dr. Nealon just acted like he didn't hear him. Both our minds were blown. Our marriage went to the worst while seeing Dr. Nealon. After seeing a new counselor it did a complete 180. Dr. Nealon once said, "I figured you guys out after the first 5 minutes you were here". He couldn't have been anymore wrong.
