Had cystocele (bladder prolapse) repair a year ago. Continued bladder issues & found a new uro gyn doctor. On colposcopy he found bladder was still prolapsed (less than one yr post surgery!), had repeat bladder lift surgery & new dr also found interstitial cystitis. Dr Winkler's office staff only uses small disposable clip catheters for urine specimens (no choice of cups) which were painfully attached by his office staff on each testing & follow up visit. I feel that repeated use of the clip catheters contributed to my IC and would not recommend Dr Winkler office

Very professional, clean, knowledgable. The staff is very friendly, communicated well. I had surgery and it was explained in detail. I would highly recommend Dr. Winkler

Im a professional who treats people with utmost respect regardless of the situation. Although this doctor is known to be a great surgeon and I went on a recommendation his bedside manner is horrible. He is not courteous at all in how he tells you medical info & quite rude with his delivery & presentation. I'm actually extremely glad I'm not a candidate for surgery because he totally would not be my selection. His staff didn't even take my vitals and told me they didn't need my urine sample and then asked for one after I voided in there lobby restroom. The restrooms and exam rooms grossed me out totally and please Dr Winkler wash and dry clean your pants

Both my OBGYN and a urologist recommended Dr. Winkler to me. I had to have an open hysterectomy as well as a sacrocolpopexy procedure and a urethral sling. Since this was my very first surgery I was very nervous but Dr. Winkler and his amazing staff made me feel at ease and treated me with the upmost care. The surgery was great and I did not even feel the need for pain medications. Would highly recommend Dr. Winkler and his staff again to anyone whom I know that needs help in his medical field.

Dr. Harvey Winkler recommended surgery for my prolapsed bladder which I had last September. I am extremely happy I had the surgery. I was a little worried about having the surgery but it was really worth it. Dr. Winkler and all staff were very helpful and kind.

Dr Winkler is extremely informative, takes his time to explain what your issues are, and provides information you need to make the right decision. In addition, I found his insight and direction he provided before/after surgery made my surgery a HUGE success. My recovery, although rough, was without any issues (which is a blessing). I am now about 8 weeks since surgery and already feel incredible.

I have been seeing Dr. Winkler since January of 2013, I have already had one surgery getting ready for another. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring and knows exactly what needs to be done and how. he spends all the time you need with him making sure all your questions and or concerns are answered before leaving his office. I was upset over my initial surgery and had numerous issues that he has been repairing. I am so very thankful I found him, (through a recommendation from another specialist.) His entire office/staff is extremely nice and has a lot of compassion for everyone. It is actually a pleasure to go to that office in Great Neck.

My hospital stay at North Shore, My operation felt like I was at a five star hotel. They staff was unbelievable.
