Biography
Hailey is a licensed and board-certified genetic counselor, specializing in prenatal genetics at Carilion Clinic since June 2018. She graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine with a degree in Medical and Molecular Genetics. Hailey is an Instructor at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, teaching medical students and OBGYN residents. Her passions include congenital heart disease, perinatal palliative care, and maternal mental health. Beyond work, she enjoys community outreach with the Junior League and adventures with her German Shepherd.
Excellent quality of care. Dr. Feldman is very clear in her explanations. Her approach is strongly evidenced-based and considers risks/benefits of any genetic testing before making any prescription. Her explanations of the genetic mechanisms and variability between different populations were extremely clear. My wife and I appreciated that she took the time to make sure we understood everything and made sure to answer any of our questions. We felt supported and understood but also reassured. An excellent genetic counselor with great care for her patients.
