Absolutely wonderful office staff and doctor, I highly recommend him as he is very knowledgeable and explains everything in detail. Lovely assistant who is very kind and patient.

I have seen four different doctors since having problems after giving birth to my child. As the only one, Dr. Melicg not only explained what the problem was but also fixed it with a procedure.

The rating above is NOT for Dr. Melich, it is for the staff.
They are rude, condescending, arrogant, don't answer voice messages from patients and referring doctors, don't provide any updates, make changes and don't inform anyone, show up to their office whenever they feel like and cancel appointments at will with no regard to patients waiting for months.
They are the worst and should be put out of business permanently.

I have only very good things to say about Dr. Melich.
He is very knowledgeable, he explained me what was going on, what needs to be done - starting with the best option in my case and if that doesn’t work what are the next options available. Everything was planned in great details for all the options we had available for my case. He discussed possible outcomes, everything was extremely precise and clear. I had an abdominal laparascopic surgery , the surgery went excellent, the recovery is going great. He followed up through his assistant doctors every day to make sure my recovery was going well and I had no concerns. Highly recommended .

I only have nice things to say about Dr. Melich. I had a hernia repair by Dr. Melich. He nicely told me what the ways of repairing it were. I especially like how my belly button is fixed and I only have scars on the side. Quite painful at first but absolutely perfect after two weeks.

I had a colonoscopy by Dr Melich at ERH. Explained the procedure and the options for what could be found. No nonsense, focused discussion that I appreciated.

Dr. Melich is a very skilled and knowledgeable doctor. I have visited this page before. I have had pain for over 10 years after the birth of my daughter. I was always embarrassed to see a male doctor for my problem but have heard about Dr. Melich from my nurse friend. Reading these gave me some further courage. After reading these, I had an image of someone else. I felt that I didn't initially get as personalized attention as described by others. Although my initial visit was about forty-five minutes, I felt that he didn't listen to me as attentively as I expected. He also looked differently physically than I expected. I was told by several other doctors that there were no options for me. Dr. Melich described four options and felt that one in particular was in his opinion better for me. He scared me by mentioning all possible complications, but I was in so much pain that I agreed to the suggested surgery. I have recovered very quickly, no longer have any pain and have normal function. I saw Dr. Melich back in his office recently for a check-up. I was now pain free and had a chance to watch responses of his patients and his interactions with them. Being now more relaxed, I now understand even better why so many patients like him. He is extremely knowledgeable and never dismisses anyone's problem.
