Biography
Elana S. Rosenberg, M.D., is a board certified ophthamologist that specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma and cataract surgery. After receiving a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. from the Wharton School of Business, Dr. Rosenberg received her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Rosenberg then completed her internship at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, followed by residency training in ophthalmology at New York University School of Medicine and Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital. Dr. Rosenberg received additional training as a glaucoma specialist in the prestigious fellowship program at the Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute of the Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Rosenberg provides a specialized course of treatment for each glaucoma patient, combining expert application of medical, laser and surgical techniques to seek the best possible long-term outcome for each patient. She is specially trained and experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of primary open angle glaucoma, angle closure glaucoma, pigmentary glaucoma, pseudoexfoliation glaucoma, and secondary glaucomas such as neovascular and inflammatory glaucoma. Dr. Rosenberg’s surgical interests include the treatment of cataracts in patients with coexisting glaucoma, the management of complex cataracts, and surgical management of patients who have undergone prior glaucoma surgery. Dr. Rosenberg has a special interest in novel surgical treatment options for glaucoma. Dr. Rosenberg has published and presented ophthalmology research at national conferences of the American Glaucoma Society and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society.

The dr has little patience with patients... I was very stressed took my father to his post surgery exam... she look at us down it seemed like she wanted to leave the room as she entered and she looked at me from head to toe and made feel I had something in my face... horrible experience... u hope my dad reco ers well, I will not go back to her DEFINITELY NOT. I demand respect stop profiling you might be a doctor but your dealing with human beings... next time I will video tape it. horrible experience...
