I love the hygienist at Dr. Lane’s Cary Tryon office because she is gentle and thorough. Aside from great chair side manner there is the massage chair and aromatherapy towel and then we get paraffin wax treatment afterwards so I am thinking about that. They also offer aromatherapy towels ad we get to pick the scent! My sons went and came home and told me they watched Netflix on virtual reality glasses and were pretty happy! Dr. Howard and his staff are all very nice and so friendly and just want us to be comfortable. They take time to answer questions. I swear they must predict my mood before I come in because each time his music selection was what went well with what mood I was in when I arrived from mellow to 80's when I grew up. Last time I heard "Pretty in Pink" and boy did I get into a great mood! They make you relaxed like you are at a spa from the time you arrive and until you leave and get your "adult" goody bag filled with fun things afterwards. Extremely satisfied with my visit. This was my first time visiting this office and I came in for a dental cleaning and exam, my first in over a year. Melissa, my hygienist, was extremely polite, funny, and professional. It's obvious she loves her job and helping people. Dr. Howard was amazing. Thorough but personable and welcoming. This office offers some amazing amenities too! Spa treatment (essential oils, paraffin hand waxing, and more), and even the dental chair I was sitting in had a massage feature! The office itself is beautiful, and the waiting room feels like home. Very refreshing to be in a place that doesn't feel clinical yet offers the highest quality dental care. Affordable too, for someone without dental insurance! Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed. Heather Cutchin

TL;DR: Alicia, Aubrey, Melissa, and Dr. Howard are amazing. Fantastic office and staff- even for a denist-phobe.

I have not been to a dentist in over 10 years (even though I knew I had cavities) because of my severe fear of the dentist. Last week, I called around to see if anyone could get me in same day because I was having some issues with pain and just really needed to get in and be cleaned and assessed. I call quite a few offices and no one could get me in. Aubrey (sp?) answered and although she could not get me in same day, she offered noon the next day. She was so nice and warm on the phone (and not that "professional yet dry nice" - but actually a true genuine nice). I immediately felt at ease and took the appointment. She was honestly the sole reason I picked Lane. The next day I walk in and Alicia (sp?) greets me with the biggest smile and a friendly face. Loved her! Melissa was the person who did my cleaning and I honestly cannot say enough about her. She was warm and thoughtful-funny as all get out. She knew from the notes I had a fear of dentists and talked to me throughout the whole process, explaining what she was doing and checking to make sure I was ok. Dr. Howard was awesome and was very gentle with me. He also took time and answered all of my questions and gave no indication that I was cramping on his time. I was skeptical of all these 5 star reviews but trust me - they are well deserved.

It’s like what? Unbelievable!

Have you ever come out of the dentist office happy and relaxed, content and comfortable with both your dental treatment, staff friendliness and attentiveness and assurance that your dental needs are carefully monitored?

I have been a patient with Dr. Lane & Associates for 22 years. Dr. Howard is my Dentist and Melissa is currently my hygienist. This team of professionals are amazing.

Their new office in Cary “hits the ball out of the park”! I have never left my dentist office after getting my teeth scraped and polished feeling so relaxed and feeling amazing!

Do you know what made the difference? A paraffin hand treatment! This office has a spa area and they pamper you after your cleaning with a paraffin wax hand treatment and gift bag!!!

Next time you need dentist consider Dr. Lane & Associates in Cary at the corner of Cary Parkway and Tryon.

Definitely choose Dr. Edward Howard as your dentist as he is personable, friendly, good listener, painless, and overall a great dentist! Both my wife and I go see him for our tooth fillings, crowns, etc. and he is top notch! From the moment I walked in the office, I was greeted and treated well. Madison and Christine at the front desk are very sweet and the paper work was fast and efficient. Becca, my hygienist has a great personality and the cleaning made my teeth feel super clean! Dr. Howard has a great personality, listens well and does excellent, painless work. I will be recommending Dr. Lane and Associates to my family, friends, and Co-workers!

Took my kids (9 and 7) for their regular checkup. Everyone from the receptionist to the dental hygienist to the dentist were friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. Love this office, beautiful decor and very friendly staff. Megan my hygienist is very thorough and kind. Dr. Howard has wonderful chair side manner, very personable and does excellent, painless dental work. He has all the latest technology and makes every visit pleasant for me and my family.
