I found out that I needed bypass surgery in mid September 2017. I first met Dr.Parry about 1 week later. My wife and I found him to be very friendly, had a good sense of humour and ready to answer any and all of our questions. During that first meeting we never felt rushed, instead he made us feel very comfortable and took his time to make sure we had a good grasp on everything that was happening to me. My bypass surgery was about 1 month later and I am glad I had Dr.Parry. It seems like every nurse I encountered only had very good things to say about Dr. Parry, I knew I was in good hands. When Dr.Parry visited me after the surgery he again was the same. Very up beat, friendly and had lots of time for me. It has now been 6 weeks since my surgery and so far, so good! I’m sure there are other surgeons that are as skilled. but what sets Dr.Parry apart is his genuine caring for his patients to make sure they are comfortable with all that goes along with this major surgery.
Thank you Dr.Parry for your tremendous skill and caring, you’ve given me a new lease on life with many more years to live and enjoy it!!

Dr Party performed Quadruple bypass on my father he was amazing and so compassionate towards my mom who is in a bad way about this whole devastation Dr Parry has been honest and so kind everytime we have seen and meet him in the hospital would let him perform heart surgery on any other of my loved ones hopefully not but he would be my fist choose

Dr. Parry performed my grandfathers quadruple bypass and got him through the surgery. His bedside manner with our family was phenomenal speaking kindly and answering questions and giving us an honest diagnosis. We hop for the best for my grandfather, but thank Dr. Parry with everything we have for helping us through this hard time.

Dr Parry performed my bypass and valve replacement surgery last December 2015. Dr Parry is a gift from God. His calm manner is so reassuring. He answered all our questions, no matter how irrelevant. He walked our family through the entire process. He even came by to check-up on me just before leaving for holidays, and even on New Year's Day. Dr Parry is unbelievable, kind, skilled, a wonderful human being. Six months later I have had many of my medications removed, and am living strong and healthy again. May God bless him. Anna V

The day I went for a consultation with Dr. Parry I was more than a little terrified, having been diagnosed with an aortic aneurysm a month earlier. I can tell you I've never been so impressed by a doctor in my life! Any question I had was answered in a calm, clear manner that made it easy to take it all in and understand what was going to be done. When I went back after my surgery was booked he and his assistant Leah explained exactly how everything would happen. I left very calm and confident that all would be well. Surgery day came and I was so calm it didn't seem possible that I was about to have such a serious surgery done, my husband put it down to the fact that Dr. Parry makes you feel like he can handle anything that might come up, without the arrogance that I've met in some other doctors! All the staff in the OR were awesome as well, it's the first time in my life I haven't been terrified to go under anesthesia, I'm pretty sure I was smiling as I went under! Thanks Dr. Parry, Leah and all the others that cared for me at Hamilton General Hospital.
