Friendly, helpful, professional staff ++. The office is spacious, clean, welcoming. Dr. Li was punctual, open, thorough. Surgery is never a picnic to say yes to. However, if your surgeon is approachable, authentic, knowledgeable and “available” it is reassuring. I felt I could trust my body & health issue to her expertise and care.

Biggest complaint?; parking (really a crazy hassle) and the absence of directions
to the elevator, public washrooms, location of office.

I only saw the Dr the day of my procedure , but spoke with her via phone prior to the procedure. Dr Li exhibits professionalism, attentiveness, kindness and knowledge. Very pleased to have had done the procedures by her as I felt safe. You are in great hands if your seeing g Dr. Li. Thanks so much and her MOA Sarah is wonderful & kind.

Late, unprepared, insensitive, abrupt, did not provide comprehensive patient information needed to make decisions. Never addressed my original medical concern. Zero score for patient /bedside manner. Ask for another referral - do not proceed with this Dr. Her office admin Sarah is lovely, efficient, thorough - but this gives one a false sense that Dr. Li will also be professional and responsive.

Disrespectful of the patient's time. I was earlier than my appointment as I knew there was a patient form to be filled out. It was already passing my appointment time, and I could hear her finishing the other appointment yet she decided to attend to other matters. 25 min into the waiting, I checked with the staff to ensure she wasn't in any surgery and they confirmed she was in. I waited another 10 min and headed out to the receptionist for the second time. She probably heard me. She came out and called me into the room. When she came in, there was no explanation or apology for keeping me waiting for 40 min. I understand there is always an emergency for doctors. Yet, being rude is another matter.

I became a patient of Dr. Li a couple of years ago. I find Dr. Li to be kind and caring , she takes the time to talk with you, explain things and answer questions. I suffered a very debilitating complication from a previous surgery (not performed by Dr. Li) and Dr. Li took me on as her patient and never gave up on trying to find a solution. This past February, Dr. Li performed surgery on me and repaired all the damage done. I needed one more surgery to reverse the ileostomy I had lived with for 2 years and in August that happened. The surgery went perfectly, no complications at all. I cannot find the words to thank Dr. Li enough. I am forever grateful to her for giving me my life back. Also, her MOA Sarah is the most wonderful person. She was so kind and patient with me as well as offering me a little emotional support when needed! When you are scared and have to endure surgery, it means everything to have someone like Sarah on your team.
