Dr Atti is a life saver. I would not be where I am today without her support and guidance. I went from being a complete train wreck that was struggling with a divorce, parenting, depression and anxiety to now a thriving, confident, entrepreneur who believes in herself. I can't say enough good things about her and am grateful I found her when I did.

New office in Village Square Crossing is very nice. Dr Atti's energy and attitude is contagious. She's upbeat, energetic and positive and gives me great perspective on life.

I highly recommend Dr. Atti. She is empathic, personable, and encouraging. I have a hard time just engaging with anyone and I felt comfortable and open from our first session. I like that she challenged me without being pushy. She didn't sit quietly and nod, but wasn't overly directive. Dr. Atti helped me a great deal in the few months we worked together. The only reason I didn't continue to see her was that I moved out of state!

I was nervous about starting therapy since his was new to me. A friend of mine of recommended Dr. Atti so I decided to go. She quickly made me feel at ease. She was open to my questions and concerns and took the time to get to know me versus treating me like a "patient". I was impressed with her and her fresh approach; she seems flexible and able to look at things from a different perspective. I am working thru marriage issues, stress management, and self esteem. I know it will take time for me to get to where I want to be but i think Dr. Atti is a great fit for helping me get there.

I can't thank Dr. Atti enough. I've been struggling with problems with food, depression and anxiety for many years and have never been able to make headway. I genuinely believe she was the missing element as since my work with her began, positive changes have occurred in my thinking, behaviors and other areas of life.

Has gone above and beyond her duty. She took the time to understand my issues and needs and has guided me to make the changes I've needed in my life. She has helped me understand the roots of my anxiety and has given me skills to cope with it. Although anxiety is something I'll have to live with, I'm realizing that it is manageable. Well worth the time and money.

I've had only positive interactions with Dr Christina. She is genuine in her approach and resourceful. She's not pushy or over opinionated like other psychologists I have gone to and I really enjoy my work with her

Christina Z. Atti's Credentials

Biography

Dr. Christina Z. Atti, a licensed clinical psychologist, provides therapy to individuals, couples, and families in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Serving surrounding areas of West Palm Beach, Jupiter, Juno Beach and Royal Palm Beach, Florida she offer psychological services to adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults with a wide-range of goals and challenges. With an office conveniently to most of Palm Beach County she is available to assist you in meeting your psychological needs. Dr. Atti's therapeutic approach is an extension of her "Atti-tude". She recognizes everyone is unique, and has different strengths as well as needs. These attributes help discover what makes a person who they are. Although Dr. Atti specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, substance abuse issues, dual diagnosis, anxiety and depression, she has a broad range of experience in which makes her well-equipped to help a diverse clientele. Because there is no manual to life, you can expect that she will provide individualized care that is collaborative and comprehensive which is designed to help you meet your unique goals. She will support and challenge you in an environment that is both safe and confidential. Dr. Atti practices from an integrative treatment approach, which focuses on skills and techniques that will increase one's ability to live a life full of emotional and physical well-being. In utilizing an integrative treatment approach to therapy, Dr Atti is able to maximize results with her clients. She draws on several schools of psychology which enables her to attend to the unique personality and characteristics of each person she works with. Her areas of ongoing proficiency include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), and Humanistic Client-Centered. Dr. Atti believes that every client is worthy of empathy, genuineness, and a judgement-free therapeutic environment. She also believes that therapy should involve the development of increased self-awareness and coping skills in order to help deal with everyday life. Although therapy and progress takes time, Dr. Atti emphasizes the importance of building on life skills slowly and progressively. In her experience, effective therapy involves more than just an intellectual understanding of one's problems. A better understanding of the thoughts that keep a person "stuck", along with the allowance of an emotional experience, is what will help move an individual to work through issues and conflicts, and behave in more adaptive ways. Because the patterns that keep a person unable to change in life are often rooted in early emotional experiences, it can be extremely freeing and therapeutic to explore these in order to develop a new way of living and viewing ones-self, and the world. This can only happen in the context of a safe relationship in which a person feels understood and accepted. She is happy to offer a free phone consultation to assess your needs, as well as address any questions, comments or concerns you may have.
