Dr Punnyamurthi truly cares about his patients. He really takes the time to listen, is incredibly empathetic and is very knowledgeable. He errs on the side of caution and will refer to other specialists as needed. He is the first doctor I’ve ever experienced taking a proactive approach: I struggled with postpartum anxiety and depression in my first pregnancy. When I got pregnant the second time around, Dr. P suggested getting the reproductive mental health team involved early on. Without any prompting from me, the referral was in months before the birth and I was connected to a team of professionals.
Dr. P also sees my mom as a patient. Her care is challenging and she regularly refuses options, but Dr. P is always open to brainstorming and trying to help however he can.
I am so incredibly grateful that Dr. P is caring for my family.

Dr. Punnyamurthi was very compassionate and understanding towards my mother 'Elizabeth'. A very intelligent human being with a deep understanding of what his patient needs or wants over how well they can physically express themselves. Dr. Punnyamurthi is the most wonderful doctor that I have ever had. He is patient and SO understanding. He works with you and is open to alternative medicines without judgement. The last doctor I had, I would have to lie about seeing a naturopath, where as I am totally comfortable with Dr. Punnyamurthi. He is absolutely wonderful. Can't say enough great things about him. 10/10 and would recommend him in a heart beat. He has converted my husband into believing in doctors again, after his many poor experiences in the past.
