Lacks bedside manor and compassion. Never looks at my joints and last Telehealth appointment he never called and when he did I did not get the service I needed and the call lasted for three minutes. Very poor patient care

Dr Teichtahl is the most dedicated Doctor I have ever been to. He is professional at all times but also knows how to interact well with patients. I am so impressed by the fact that he has often called me at night or even on his weekends. He is very knowledgeable and really goes above and beyond. More importantly he listens and tells it how it is. Staff are helpful and relay messages from Dr Teichtahl really quickly. Would highly recommend.

Referred to Dr Teichtahl as he was highly recommended. First impression was good. Charming & caring. What followed was a decline in care. Failed to listen. Made derogatory comments well outside his area of expertise. Didn't like a well informed patient. I made no progress under his care. Cost a fortune. What a waste.

Started off great. Went downhill after many costly visits. Became overly judgemental & dismissive & failed to listen to symptoms. Just a money spinner I'm afraid. Very disappointed & wasted so much time & money. You began so very well Andrew but you completely dropped the ball.

Fantastic. Nice Doctor who explains things well and efficiently works through things. Did not waste time bringing me back to get more tests and arranged them between appointments which was excellent in progressing my health

Can be charming but when it came to actual diagnosis and action, no substance. Dr Teichtal dismissed most of the symptoms I described and the conclusions provided by other specialists eg. in his opinion, I "looked well", …. my "pain wasn't too bad(!)" and I "shouldn't worry" about blood tests, never mind that other medicos were and had named diagnoses. When pressed for actual advice about how to manage very painful peripheral neuropathy, he felt he had nothing to offer. For once, I felt he had hit the nail on the head.
I persisted until the completion of his evaluation because of my respect for his referring colleague. Big mistake! A complete waste of time, money and my energy. I felt like an item on the assembly line. I observed what looked to me like a high churn of patients in my visits to this specialist. This included a first consultation with a new client that lasted all of 15 minutes.
"Come back next year" was the final recommendation to which my response was Never!
Find a rheumatologist with better listening skills, an inquiring mind and an interest in patients that is more than simply financial would be my recommendation. My apologies to Dr. Teichtal's staff at one of his surgeries who were lovely people. This could not be said at another surgery where support staff appeared harried and overworked.
This specialist's punctuality was good. I have had to down grade the rating because I could not in all conscience give anything like a 3 star overall score to my experience with this specialist.

Att need surgery saw a female doctor. Felt bad as soon as I entered the room. She googled exercises for me and I was only in there less than 15 mins. Not happy at all what a waste of $360 will never go back again. Very very unhappy Very angry

Dr T has seen me for over 4 years. I have improved significantly. He does call a spade a spade, so when I initially presented he told a few home truths. I have lost significant weight and my blood tests and general well-being are much better. My medication burden is now significantly less. We keep chipping away at things and I continue to improve. A very kind but no-nonsense Doctor

I have been seeing this doctor for over a year now. Initially he was great but now I feel he is way to busy and does not take the time with his patients. He very rarely examines me and a couple of times when I’ve called to discuss medication cessation preoperatively he has not called me back
