I was first referred by a colleague to Dr. Cortese in 1988.
Over the next 30 years he spent time with me often. Over the years, I have referred many friends and family to him. All of which are just as happy with him.
He saved me back surgery when I had an injury at work and for that I am extremely grateful.
We retired to the Okanagan some years ago and as such no longer see Dr. Cortese. I have never been able to find another doctor like him.
I strongly recommend Dr. Cortese for future patients and wish him all the very best.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cortese for 20+ years and continue to receive exception treatment and care. He is very compassionate, caring, professional and very knowledgeable. Dr. Cortese gave me my quality of life back - after years of back pain and loss of mobility due to a herniated disk, pain killers, massage therapists, physio, acupuncture, and many tears, Dr.Cortese was the first and only person to really work with me whereas with other doctors I felt alone in how to treat my back. He created a program for me, exercises to do between sessions, and got me living pain-free again. Also he really cares about what is going on in your life, is one of those great people who is interested in everything and always wanting to learn more and professionally beyond the scope of only chiropractic. I recommend (forcibly) everyone I know to him!

I have been seeing Dr. Cortese for 21 years off and on - I now live on Vancouver Island, but still only see Dr. Cortese in Vancouver because of his incredible knowlege and helpfulness for any issues I have ranging from carpel tunnel to shoulder impingement. He has been truly a miracle worker for me.

Best chiropractor I've ever seen. Very knowledgeable, goes above and beyond. Busy practice, so book ahead to avoid waiting. Wonderful human, and remembers a great many things about the individual he is treating and even family members.
