This Doctor should not be practicing ! My father went in for a what should have been a routine cataract surgery and end result was blinded permanently. My father had paid more for the better lens than MSP paid lens and Dr. Cottle during the surgery ripped that lens and didn't have a back up, perhaps this was just and excuse, we will never know but my father had to have SIX surgeries , one by him and the rest by other doctors and specialists trying to repair the incompetent work Dr Cottle performed. My father never wore glasses or had any issues with his eyes ever prior to Dr Eye Death AKA Cottle. During the last surgery they had to just put a bubble of oil in his eye and could not repair the damage Dr Cottle caused. It's a shame I cannot send a photo of his eye but then I am sure most people would be sickened by the sight of it, it's far from pretty. Run from this man and eye centre is you value your eye health. I cannot warn you enough!!!

dr cottle is the very best. he is kind, gentle, articulate and knowledgeable. i have very good vision because of his skill and the process was easy and skillful and organized. the staff are great. i am so impressed with Christine who was always patient with people and she is a terrific lady.

Well.. as of this writing June 20 2022 let me say I am not impressed with Dr. Cottle.. I had cataract surgery in March 2022… I paid extra for supposedly improvement lenses instead of the government approved lenses.. my eye sight has NOT improved, as a matter of fact it is worse than before the surgery… I ask questions after numerous visits since March but all I get is a response from the dr..see you in one month and and /or 6 months.. he does som checks to the eye , visual tests etc.. I can’t read the letters during the visual tests , I address this but still no concrete answer from the doctor.. I am pissed , I paid extra, I don’t get any answers… he only accepts cash for higher grade lenses… I wonder why b. but I’m wondering if he is using inferior lenses and and did I get screwed? My eye certainly got screwed… I suggest you get second opinions before using Dr Robin Cottle…HIGHLY RECOMMEND..

Dr. Cottle did my cataract surgery and he was amazing. He went out of his way to help me get through this process as I'm hearing impaired. His wife, who is also a doctor came to the hospital and held my hand through the whole process. I've been going to New West Eyes for a decade and I would not go anywhere else. Thank you so much Dr. Cottle for your amazing care.

The staff here are amazing. This doctor... not so much. I have never met a doctor as pompous and so full of himself as this one. In one appointment I have seen no signs of patient care or empathy. No bedside manner at all. No punctuality. He brushed off what his patient needed and even laughed at her. I have not seen the great care that others have noted in other ratings. Whatever the reason, his behaviour was not alright and should not be tolerated by anyone.
