I went with my mother. She ignored my elderly mother's symptoms. I would not recommend.

Dr. Pietraszek is a lovely lady however she would not be my go to physician if I had a more serious medical condition. She sends patients for tests (x-rays, simple blood work) but most of the time you don't find out the results of those tests (either they are misplaced, she's unsure of how to interpret them or completely forgets she sent you for certain tests and suggests they be re-done). Simple requests, referrals or doctors notes are absolutely fine but anything more complex and she becomes easily flustered and expresses her inconvenience/annoyance. The receptionist is also lovely and has been working there for decades but is quite disorganized.

Excellent doctor! Caring, helpful and knowledgeable. The negative reviews are mind boggling. Just because you don’t get your way, does not mean she is a terrible doctor. I’ve been a patient for a while, along with my mother and we are both very happy with this doctor! She even called me few times to see how I’m doing when I was at the hospital getting surgery. I’ve yet to see that with any other doctor. She actually listens to your problems and is very helpful. I am grateful to be her patient. Thank you Dr. Pietraszek!

Dr. Pietraszek is very nice, but she is very behind on modern medical information. My mother recently developed serious health problems that were signalled through blood test and I found out through checking LifeLabs results myself. Dr. Pietraszek did not call her. When I called to follow-up, Dr. Pietraszek asked ME what tests I think my mother should have done. I had no idea as I have no medical background so I simply guessed to do two scans. BOTH scans came back badly, and she delivered the news but did not advise us on next steps. I have had to initiate any follow-up and treatment. Unfortunately, being nice is not enough here. I think it's time for her to retire. Also, this office has no computer system and everything is still on paper only. It's very disorganized, frustrating, and I would not recommend her to anyone.

Treats my Mother since 1994. Helped her for years my mom has dementia and other seniors issues. My mom especially loves her.

This women shouldn't even have a medical degree she only treat most clients like garbage my Mother and I went to her for years and all she did was refuse to help and talk down and put my Mother down which led to my Mother's depressed state as a person Dr.M is disrespectful and uncaring without a drop of sympathy

She is garbage. She has refused to help me twice when it came to me health, which is epilepsy. She knows my epileptic history and knows I have been on many different kinds of medications that do nothing, and when cannabis oil can help me, who gets 24+ seizures everyday, she refuses just because there is CBD os in it! And refused to help me when it came to getting ODSP, which helps pay for the 3 different kinds of medication I am currently on! She Is a garbage doctor!!!

I don't know what these other people are talking about. Dr. Pietraszek was absolutely horrible to my mother. She would come into the exam room, stressed, impatient, would NOT take time to listen to my mother. She must treat the elderly like a piece of garbage if younger patients are getting better service. My mother always got the impression that Dr. Pietraszek was in a hurry and didn't have the time or care to hear what my mother was saying.

And if that wasn't bad enough, the Dr. finally washed her hands of my mother and told her "I can't help you anymore" and abandoned her. Didn't bother to find another doctor for her. Totally unprofessional. That's disgusting to treat an elder like that.

Don't believe those reviews saying she is patient! BullShit! Any Doctor who quits on a patient without providing a referral should NOT be a doctor. New Patients - BEWARE, don't say I didn't tell you

Would certainly recommend Dr. Pietraszek. She's very kind and concerned with me and my family's health. She always acts patient , listening to any and all concerns and answering questions (I have a lot). She's been very good too with sending me to the specialists she thinks will best serve my needs which is great because I've often had trouble receiving the right recommendations in the past with other doctors.
