He Is Very Truthful About Issues And If U Have A Deep Concern About It He Will Tell You Options And You Tell Him What You Would Like To Do... Thats What I Did And Everything Is Great Now.

Dr. Kalter was recomended to us by our OB. He is a great Dr. very knowledgeable and polite. His staff is also very helpful specially his nurse. I would recomend him to anyone. When my son was first born his bilirubin count was high and at the time we had a different pediatrician. We switched to Dr. Kalter since this pediatrician kept sending him to get lab tests and had no intentions of treating it. As soon as we went to Dr. Kalter he began to take care of things immediately.

I had to change my son's Ped. due to changing from private insurance to medicaid. So I attempted this doctor bc they do have convenient hours for those who have day time jobs. I am so dissatisfied with this office, the receptionist very unprofessional and not happy with the doctor as well. My son has an issue with reoccurring abscesses and staph infections and needed a referral for an immunologist and was sent by my previous son's doctor but since I had to switch insurance I had to get a referral from him and it was like pulling teeth!

Dr Kalter is absolutely wonderful as well as Priscilla. Now the office staff on the otherhand is the EXACT OPPOSITE. Very rude, very unprofessional and certainly not a friendly atmostphere for the office. Last time I was in she never said hello, instead sat on her cell phone. I am sure that the clientele has dimished since she has been given this position. Personally I am searching for a new provider because of the office staff which is sad. I am surprised that Dr. Kalter allows this to take place in his practice.

My kids have been patients for years but we are now in the process of finding a new doctor after our last visit. Very unprofessional behavior from everyone including the Doctor. Yelling at a child who is apprehensive about a test is not appropriate behavior. That in addition to an inappropriate remark about his apprehensive behavior have convinced me it was time to find a new doctor. Also, the nurse did a terrible job of explaining what was going on - she didn't say anything until we asked several times for her to explain. Doctor Kalter is knowledgeable but for my family I need knowledge and compassion. He would be better suited for an adult practice not pediatrics.

Dr. Kalter is great and so is Priscilla his main nurse. He and Priscilla are kind and gentle with our kids, and the kids love them both. His receptionist though, has the worst soft skills I have ever experienced in someone. She is very rude, inconsiderate, and has a limited vocabulary. Since she is the face of the office it casts a bad light on such a wonderful doctor and head nurse. She is the latest of three that have been employed in that position as of 10/08. Do not expect to be have a professional experience either over the phone or in person through the current receptionist.

Dr. Kalter was recommended by our OB. He is very polite and courteous. His staff is also very kind. Dr. Kalter is always open to listen to what we have to say. I would recommend him to a friend.
