Dr bueno has ssaved my life on two occasions. He's one of a kind. I can't imagine a better overall doctor

Extremely condescending, arrogant, absolute zero bedside manner. Support staff seem to have picked up his behaviors. Did the surgery and I'm thrilled with that but - I've never met a doctor as rude as he.

Lacks professionalism. Very condescending and arrogant. Qualities not needed when facing cancer. He may be a good surgeon but falls short on follow up care and fully explaining illness progression which is needed to help decide and seek future treatment. Cannot recommend Bueno.

Very poor patient/family interaction. Abrupt and condensending. May be a premier surgeon but lacks follow up with his patients post surgery. His condensending manner deems him very unprofesional.

Dr Raphael Bueuno is the best/compassionate Doctor , I was told my condition was permanent !!!! after consultation with Dr Bueno he told me you will never be the same but I can make you more comofortable!!!!! Surgery went well, Dr Bueno improved my quality of life!!!!! I am very thankful and have a very special place in my heart for Dr Bueno , I love him

Outstanding care for operation for esophgeal cancer-currently NED after 3.5 years. Always polite and knowledgable but tells it like it is which was much appreciated on my part. Although occasionally long waits, over the last 4 years it has average less than 45 minutes. As a patient I am much more concerned about capability than bedside manner (which I found to be good) and this Doctor has capability in spades. Dave Mack

Have had 3 procedures: Often waited > 2 hrs b4 being seen for sched'ld appt. Very knowledgable and skilled as a thoracic surgeon but thinks he overestimates himself at times. No compassion and lousy bedside manner.

Worst manners of any physician I have met. He tried to come across as nice to me, but didn't help that he is yelling at his nurses and other doctors..condescending and rude. Sounds like he creates a negative environment for all involved. I wouldn't want to be operated on by him.
