dr.Shenava is easy to talk to. He cares about his patients. I have had no problems with my medications. Been with him for 20 years. He gently suggests ways to improve my overall well being .

I've known Dr shenava for 14 years , I know he has a short fuse but it's just his personality I should know I've known him long enough , we had lots of laugh and exchanged small talk about our family and he is so proud of his children and often talked about his 101 year old mother in India.
He misdiagnosed me , I guess he didn't ask enough about me . Dr shenava is just as human as anyone else as a psychiatrist I'm sure he has enough of his own personal problems with everyone else problems on his shoulders. I'm not saying that he is guilty or innocent for committing what he was accused of . He was always appropriate with me and never said anything to make me uncomfortable.

I couldn't be more happy to leave a review now that i see he is being charged for sexual assault even though i am male. I always thought i am the only one that experienced very rude and aggressive behavoir from him. And one time i went to speak to crisis worker at ouellette campus and that lady confirmed to me that she heard from a lot of people that he is rude and aggressive to patients and that psychiatrist don't have manager and it is not easy to fire them or discipline them and you have to write complain to college of Physicians which is difficult and not easy process which is a shame. And all these negative reviews about dr shenava are true, you may ask why dr miller gets mostly positive reviews. I am trying to say that these reviews are not made up or like some say stop complaining. I think we should complain if we have a reasonable reason. And why is it that dr. shenava has the worst reviews on this site, well he is not a good doctor, if anyone can tell me that he is good doctor go to him and tell me experience after few months. Anyone that is searching for a psychiatrist should read these reviews first. And i wish that more people put reviews about psychiatrists, i find them useful at least. And i am happy that he is being now intimidated by sexual charges and some cameras for news photos. "The evil you do remains with you".

Dr. Shenava at times is very testy and impatient with me. He has no problem telling me to keep quiet in a very aggressive and rude manner. I never walk out feeling good about my time with him.

I have never had an issue with him. I am not intimidated by his ego. I do not care about the charges, even though I am a woman. He is simply there to prescribe, not to counsel. My job is to follow up with counselling and then go to him for the rx i need. i do my job, he does his. No problems at all.

This doctor has been banned in the United States for alcohol abuse and sexual misconduct. Yet everyday he travels from the States to Windsor to work as a doctor. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR he takes advantage of his patients and is a sexual predator as well as an alcoholic. He should be banned in Canada as well.

i have seen this doctor many times. he strikes me as egotistical. of course he knows about psychiatric conditions but he doesn't ask the patient enough questions to make a proper diagnosis. it is true his files are open all over his desk. one of his receptionists is really nice. the younger lady with the blonde hair. however he doesnt give enough time for appointments,. if he is billing ohip for 15 minutes those appointments should be close to 15 minutes. he does not talk to people. he does not do any talk therapy. he has asked me about my copulation habits l but this is a normal question when you take antidepressants as they can affect it. he has not hounded me like others he has never touched me inappropriately ,but i think he knows i m not the type of person you can do that to . we will have to see what happens at his trial. he needs to show more compassion and sympathy for his clients. the impression you g et is that he doesn't care and just wants you gone. i generally wait about 45 minutes pas my appointment time to see him. i have never seen him at my actual appointment time.

Had his licence revoked in the US. Still allowed to operate in the US and still operating in Canada but has sexual misconduct allegations in Canada by former patients.

He is terrible doctor and have been banned from practicing US due to sexual abuse.
