This man should not have a license. Was in due to a workplace injury on my thumb, dr McLean came in before X-rays were even done or even knowing if it was broken or not and began yanking and tugging on my thumb and being very rough. He dismissed any questions I had and was very rude and condescending.

This doctor is kind, professional and dedicated. He got me the necessary tests and a referral to a specialist in record time. No matter what the outcome will be, he has made a n impression on me that I won't soon forget. Thank you.

My 19 day old child was passing fresh blood in her stool I took her in and knowing it was probably just a fissure but as a new parent I needed that reassurance. I unfortunately saw dr.maclean who rolled his eyes quickly examined my child and said it was digested maternal blood left over from delivery.. if it was digested do you not think it would be black not fresh? I also have 3 friends who took their babies to emerge with RSV symptoms and sent all 3 home with the diagnosis of " they probably have RSV it's probably peeking" 0 swabs, 0 tests 0 treatment 2/3 of those babies ended up in the IWKs PICU less than 12 hours later. We deserve more than just "probably" as a diagnosis this man is NOT doing the testing he needs to do and it is killing people. If you see this man at emerge ask for a different doctor it literally could be life or death better yet just walk out and go to Windsor. Don't waste your time with dr MacLean.

Dr McLean turned my cousin away from Emerg.Told her she was having a migraine. She was actually having a stroke. He could of prevented this with a decent assessment with appropriate treatment. Therefore she’s had to live with the consequences. This is not the only time he’s turned patients away when serious medical events are happening. He’s a liability to the pubic

He nearly killed me. How many more people must die before you pull this guy’s license. I know we are desperate for doctors but he is seriously KILLING people by making poor decisions and not even ordering simple bloodwork

When I think of the healthcare crisis Nova Scotia is facing right now, this man is the poster-child for it. Absolutely disgraceful. I will never see him again and if I have to wait 18 hours to see a different doctor, I will. Do not trust your life in this mans hands.
