This doctor should not be licensed.I do not know why I was treated the way I was.I found a lump in my breast. He found the same spot.He belittled me telling me that women die from cancer.I questioned myself.I did nothing. The doctor did nothing. You would think he would send me for a mammogram. He also arranged a vaginal ultrasound because he felt I had endomitriosis. He scheduled me for an exam. When I showed,I did not see females.I went in the examining room.He had a male specialist to handle the machine & he was present to.The examine was very painful. They laughed.I began to cry. When they were done.Days later he informed me I had endomitriosis.I had surgery to remove the endo.I do not know why I allowed this doctor to treat me other than I questioned myself on the abuse.I left but went back to give him a piece of my mind when I felt strong enough to do so.He said he was having a bad day on those days. I hope no one else has experienced what I have.I am sorry I didn't help you sooner.

I've transfered to Dr. Sorin from my Midwife after becoming high risk and I absolutely love his care. He is attentive, respectful, responsive, and a Delight to work with. I generally have a hard time with male OBGYN's but he made me feel comfortable and explained everything to me calmly and with respect. I strongly recomend this doctor, also I have heard wonderful things about the other doctors he works with so in the case of delivering while he is not on call I will have a doctor that I can trust through him, which isn't always the case.

I found Dr. Sorin when I had my 1st child 19 years ago. He was awesome compassionate and I didn't get pawned off on other people. He's been there through all my other situations with and without insurance. Delivered my son as well. Has had the same staff for almost 20 years although one of his nurses didn't come with him to the new office. Still, same staff for over 20 years says alot.

I agree with one comment about the insurance lady. My first day there she was very very rude to me when I didn't have the right medicaid paperwork. She also looked at me like a poor person when I told her I could pay for the first visit out of pocket. Needless to say I rescheduled! She has eased up on her attitude lately though, so she's not so bad. The nurse is a true joy though. She is fun, and makes you laugh. I love Dr. Sorin. He is the first male Dr I have had (and the first baby) and he made me feel very comfortable on the first visit!! I am grateful to have him as my OB!

Dr. Sorin was my Doctor all throughout my pregnancy. He was very helpful, understanding, and attentive. I only wish he would have delivered my son like he delivered my husband decades ago... I had my son on the due date- 8/1/07. Everything went wonderful and I am grateful that Dr. Sorin made sure my baby and I were healthy all the way through. (I will add that Rita- the insurance lady was a delight when I was insured but treated me as a nuisance once I went from a nice insurance co. to Medicare- that didn't affect my Dr/Patient relationship w/ Dr. Sorin)- Don't get your spirits down when your not greeted with a friendly face but if you're seeing Dr. Sorin, it's worth it.

I was given very limited info about my medical condition as far as treatment options, was given a shot by him before I had regained conciousness after sugery that has left me with ongoing side effects. Was sent home with a booklet about the shot he gave me after the fact.Continued the treatment after I informed him and his nurses the treatment was making me worse! No info was given to me about other more sucessful treatments that other Dr's could perform .

Dr Sorin performed an emergency c-section on me after my midwives totally mismanaged my birth. He did a great job and got my son out fast- which turned out to be important. He was a kind man and never judged my choices like other doctors did.

Dr. Sorin has been my OB/Gyn for twelve years through endometriosis treatments, three births and now pre-menopause. He has never failed to do for me whatever was necessary given the circumstances: excellent medical care, emotional support, professional courtesy and/or humor. I've never had a doctor I trust this much.
