Although I believe that dentistry is not regulated here in Alberta, I find the exorbitant rates charged here inexcusable.
My last visit with my 2 sons concluded with a request for 4 separate visits to attend to 'potential' cavities. I think this is outrageous. seems like a huge cash grab.

Been going to this office for years. Never once have had the reception be rude. But I have watched people demand appointment times after there hours or ask if all work can be done on their child in one appointment only. I would not put myself thru all my dental work done at once so why would I expect my child to sit and have it done. I have to vouch for these women who deal with ignorant people everyday with class. Just cause parents don't get their way doesn't mean the staff is rude. I would never trust another office as much as this one.

Worst reception staff on the planet. Can't even manage to be pleasant to the clients. Dr is good but there are others who are just as good or better in the city. I will not bring my son back. I can overpay somewhere else in this city.

Reception staff is terrible! Rude and have no interest in kids... When it's a KIDS dentist. Awful people to have as your first impression of the office. The Dr herself is very friendly... But VERY busy and we were alloted a whole 5 mins for our checkup. I had questions that she barely answered as she was walking out to her next child!! Plus... U never get in on time... And then when they bring you to the back area you end up waiting another 15 mins or more for the dentist..,, and with a 3and a half year old this is a total pain because all I did was end up chasing him around back there making sure he didn't touch anything! Bottom line for a KIDS dentist it's not run well directed to kids

Dr Schwann is really great, so helpful and acoomodating and knows her profession very well. But her staff is rude and unaccomodating. How can a clinic be for kids when there is no schedule on a weekend or after school hours that kids are free for a routine cleaning procedure. Her staff dont make compromise or help customers to find a reasonable solution with scheduling. How many times they made me feel like I have no choice but to take the schedule or leave it because they are the best and loosing a client doesnt matter at all. Well if you think you are the best surely there is someone even better than you. Professionalism and giving value to your clients are as every bit important as the dental practise itself. In case you dont know that!!!!

Dr Sandy is the best! My son has been seeing her for years since he was a child and continues to see her as an adult because he has disabilities and is a little more difficult to work with. She is so kind, friendly, skilled and patient. We wouldn't go anywhere else and I highly recommend her if you are looking for a great dentist for your child or adult with special needs.

Dr,Schwann was a nice lady however , she told me my son had 4 cavities .... And kept telling me I needed to come in . I eventually ended up taking him somewhere else where they told me he had NO Cavities !! . I am not using a dentist that is clearly just out for a money grab.

The reception staff is very rude and unwelcoming. After being told they were completely full and finally getting in, the entire place was empty! We were the only customers there. The hygienist asked my little brother who helped him brush his teeth; mommy or daddy? In response he told her that our father passed away. I have no hard feelings as she was not aware of it but she continued to ask me about the circumstances of his death. "What happened? Was it unexpected or an accident? Was he ill?" were some of the questions she had asked. This caught me off guard as this is information that she does not require to know to complete the job. It was a very poor attempt for start a conversation if that was her intention.

Concerns with treatment done and billing practices. Co worker took her daughter to same clinic and also had problems. Will not be returning. Very unhappy with our experience at this office. Administrative staff do not seem to know what they are doing and Dentist's do not care.

My daughter has had previously bad experiences with dentists, hospitals, etc. Dr. Sandy and her staff were so friendly and immediately put her at ease. She explained our options perfectly. Highly recommend!
