He is just such an amazing doctor. His depth of knowledge is beyond your average specialist. He really cares too. I haven seen him in 7 years(I left to sail around the world) but his dedication to his work saved me. He put me on Spriva when no other Dr in Canada used it on Asthma patients. And this saved me. Plus his clerk/nurse was always so wonderful and kind.

After coughing constantly for 4 years, I was sent to see Dr. Allen. He was so thorough and has found a way to stop the cough now for nearly 2 years. I am always amazed at his kindness and caring for each patient. He is a prime example that specialists can have TLC and not become so busy they forget about the patient. He is so knowledgeable can combine his own specialty to the whole patient as I see specialists in other areas as well. he keeps in touch with my other doctors and keeps impeccable records. I am truly blessed to have him as my caregiver.

I have been his patient for years & I feel so blessed & lucky to have him as my doctor , I trust him with my life . He is kind, respectful, good listener and he always go above & beyond to help me . There were times he helped me with my other illness that had nothing to do with my lung issue. He is the reason I am staying in Hamilton , I never had a doctor that cares for me like he does. And his assistant Janet is a very sweet & nice lady when he is away she always makes sure I have been taking care of when I needed.

Patients requiring a pulmonologist or requiring a diagnosis are truly fortunate to have such a capable Dr. as Dr. Allen. Extremely knowledgeable and caring. Very thorough with his testing and will go through lengths to diagnose your symptoms. With an average patient having little knowledge of lung function and some of the diagnostic tests required by the time you must visit a Dr. with his expertise, at no time do you sense any intimidation. He has a wonderful manner and is very caring.

Fantastic doctor. Saw him for many years; he got me so I did not have to go back but after several years I had to return and was so glad to have him as my doctor again. You can feel comfortable talking to him!! I'm sure I'll soon be "breathing easier" with Dr Allen on my side. And his secretary Janet is a treasure....

After two years of visits with various doctors regarding a breathing problem, I was blessed with an appointment with Dr.Allen. On my first appointment he told me what the problem was and what the solutions would be. He is knowledgeable,kind and most important he's caring. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Allen looked after my mother, who had COPD for many years. She had great faith in him and he always treated her with kindness and respect. He is a great doctor and went above and beyond the call of duty to care for my mom (Mrs. Jenkins). He is very approachable and knowledgeable.

My husband has a rare breathing condition that had many doctors stumped. Dr.Allen diagnosed him after a few questions. He doesn't always seem very personable, but he is brillant!! He ended 2 years and dozens of near death attacks to an end. Anyone with lung and breathing problems would be lucky to have him a a doctor.
