No masks. Only the Nurse Practitioner. The other nurse told me Dr Orris knows better than the CDC.

The back office of this practice is AWFUL. I eventually had to find another DR. I really liked Dr Orris, but his reception people are pathetic, never return calls...like ever

Having been a public speaker and an on-air talent, I can tell you that when you say something on the order of, "A pleasant good morning to all of you", someone in the audience will take offense. "What's good about it???", you might hear. That said, this is how life sometimes works out and certainly not an indictment to the reviewer's comments below. My personal experience with Dr. Orris and has staff have always been excellent but the definition of the word is ongoing. There are certain days no one would want to speak to me about most anything and I've seen the opposite with select members of Gary's staff but in the main, the care and professionalism has always been present and consistent.

I’d been a patient of Dr. Orris for many years and needed to schedule my annual physical. I spoke to Patti to set the appointment. I let her know up-front that the appointment time was tough and I may need to reschedule. She said “no problem just let us know” and that’s all. The morning of my appointment I was called into work so I called to reschedule. I was and I am truly sorry that I couldn’t give them more notice. The receptionist was arrogant, condescending and rude. She treated me like a child and said “well just so you know you gonna have to pay a cancellation fee”. WHAT? That was NEVER MENTIONED WHEN I SET MY APPOINTMENT OR IN THE EMAIL REMINDER. The email reminder exactly states: ‘If you are unable to make this appointment, it is important that you call us as soon as possible so we can make other arrangements’. I told the receptionist this and she couldn’t care less. I asked to speak to Patti “Patti, I told you about my circumstances and that I might need to change my appointment time. You could’ve told me there’s an appointment cancellation fee but you didn’t. Why didn’t you tell me this when we first talked?” Patti became hostile and defensive. She literally yelled at me! “We have over 4500 patients and I don’t have the time to tell everyone I speak to about cancellation fees and besides it’s in your new patient paperwork!!” REALLY? You mean the paperwork I filled out 7 years ago?!? I love Dr. Orris and the nurse but I won’t be yelled at and abused by irresponsible, manipulative office staff. The whole experience was a nightmare. They’re deceptive and shady. No thanks, I’ll find a new doc.

Excellent bedside manner. Will sit with you as long as you need. Very knowledgeable. His experience as an emergency doc is also very convenient.

I just had my first visit with Dr. Orris the other day and was extremely impressed by not only him, but his whole staff. The nurse that helped me was beyond amazing and kind! I showed up 20 minutes late to my appointment and the staff was understanding and respectful, which I did not expect! I felt safe, at home and comfortable in his office and with his staff. I have never had this great of an experience at a doctors office before. Amazing practice!

I'm a long term patient of Dr. Orris and cannot understand why anyone would make a negative comment about his overall practice and the people who make it work. A lot of physicians are businesslike, cold and have the personality of a damp rag. Such is not the case with Gary Orris. He doesn't give up until he makes you better. I've been to well over a dozen different doctors over the past many decades and none of them come close to matching Dr. Orris' competence, dogged determination, personality and caring levels.

Since moving to Georgia, my wife and I were concerned about finding a reliable doctor. We struck gold when we found Dr. Orris. He spends time with you and talks to you not around you. I have never been so impressed with a doctor and his staff as I have been with Dr. Orris. We have never left his office feeling we still had a concern or question. He takes time to talk with you about all your concerns as a patient and will any and all of your questions. Wonderful practice!

Every so often you find a product or service that under promises and over performs. It's rare but then, so is the expertise and competence of Dr. Orris who always provides highly effective diagnostic analysis and follow up treatments. That said, another reason to like the man is his down to earth personality. I always feel I'm talking with a friend instead of the formal discourse between doctor and patient. He listens, offers thoughtful advice, and is never in a rush to move on to the next patient and while he might be apt to do that because of his growing practice, never does because his focus is on YOU. Dr. Orris' staff complements him extremely well and you can see they all form a winning attitude and treat each patient with, care, concern and competence. There's that word again: COMPETENCE. You can see from the start that Dr. Orris runs a tight shop where everyone knows their role and carries out their respective tasks in an orderly manner. You won't do better than here.
