I’ve been seeing him for well over 30 years. He’s an excellent doctor. I trust him 100% . Last year I went to his office after feeling very weak for several days. He took an X-ray and gave me his diagnosis within 30 seconds. Since it was very serious, I decided to go to two more specialist. After hours of testing, CT scans, Ultrasounds, blood tests they confirmed his diagnosis. In short, he’s my buddy and feel part of his team.

I have heard that Dr. Markey is knowledgeable in his specific field, but with my problem he was ignorant. He made me feel like a criminal for having back pain at a young age. Didn't listen to me at all, he actually walked out of the room as I was still asking questions. The receptionest came to get me because I was waiting for him to come back and he never did. So many more things I was very upset about, but overall a horrible experience and I will never be back. I made an appointment with a different doctor as well as a chiropractor.

I did not have insurance for the past 3 years. Dr Markey is what I call a "a doctors doctor" , by that I mean he practices medicine for all the right reasons, despite the hassle with insurance companies and the federal government. The staff is the most efficient staff I have ever had contact with. Dr Markey really cares. I would rate them a ten if I could. Make an appointment...you will be glad you did. You are not just a patient number!,

Dr Markey always listens to the patient. He has a good sense of humor and is very humble. He literally saved my life in 2007 when he diagnosed pnuemonia after another doctor said that it was a sinus infection. I was so ill that Dr. Markey said he would not have recognized me without my chart.

Dr Markey is succinct, informative and straight forward. He has a relaxing demeanor and a "no-BS" attitude toward practicing medicine. I am one of the many who avoid Dr visits whenever possible - however through only two visits this gentleman (and his staff) have succeeded in changing that pattern. I highly recommend Dr Markey!

I believe if there were Doctors like Dr. Markey, we would see more people expressing confidence in the medical system. If there is any negative comment to surface regarding Dr. Markey it would be that he has a very busy schedule and it often is evident in the number of patients he may see in one day or even one hour. On the positive side of this observation is the fact that because of his knowledge and concern for patients it is the same reason so many people turn to him for treatment and advice. I, personally, have never been a consistent visitor to doctor's offices because of the expediency and apathy observed when consulting most of the practicing physicians in today's modern medicine, but I also try to limit my calls to allow patients who are more needful and less fortunate than myself, the time required to see their Doctors. Also this decreases the cost of healthcare in my opinion.
