I have known this gentleman for years and he has helped me out

He blamed all my pain on my bone disorder while dismissing a fibromyalgia diagnoses, osteoarthritis and several other painful issues. When I asked him if he knew of someone in Canada that really knew my bone disorder he claimed that no one understood it. It was too rare. I know that there is much to be learned about the cause of it but I know that there are doctors that understand how to treat it, how it affects a person, etc. my kids had a pedi acetic surgeon who was familiar with it. He didn’t have any suggestions or insights of any sort about my chronic fatigue. He didn’t ask any questions about it. Most of the time was spent talking about taking more medications (and I take plenty already). There is so much more that I could say. I waited so long to see a physiatrist all for nothing.

Thank you for seeing me this November. It was very informative and educational for me. I was able to view all the X-Ray’s, Scan’s and CT’s from the past 6 months. In this manner, I was able to make the decisions that were best suited to me.

Every time I see him he says something upsetting, I told him I was having an issue and he graphically told me about someone he saw who had it worse. He told me the subtype of my disorder and then he told me to Google it at home. I saw the report he wrote for my last visit and it was riddled with errors. He made an error in prescribing a brace so that, had I worn it, I would’ve been at more risk of injury. Fortunately, I saw an athletic therapist who told me.

He did nothing but increase the pain meds my gp had prescribed. He is rude and uninterested in his patients. Not sure why he is a doctor.

He told me last year I would be eligible for a life altering treatment for my progressive, chronic illness and I saw him yesterday and he told me I am no longer eligible because there’s no facilitator and he “doesn’t want to do it.” He treats me like a waste of time, and is always an arrogant as*.

I had to wait almost a year to get into see him, but when I did it changed my life. I can't speak highly enough of him and his professionalism and diagnostic skills. I had been suffering with a misdiagnosed condition for about 2 years and was just trying to manage the pain. He spent the time and energy to discover the real problem and refered me t0 an excellent surgeon. He did not put me on that conveyer belt that so often happens in Medicine, So grateful to have had this experience
