OHIP
I diagnosed with Central serous retinopathy 4 month ago. Recently I feel my condition is improving, especial far-sight. But my nearsighted vision is still blurry. I went to see my optometrist. She said the back of my eyeball doesn't look smooth, maybe it's degeneration. she recommended me to see ophthalmologist to follow up. Next week, I called receptionist and she asked me a bunch of questionnaire. I never claimed it's an emergency. I have concerns to follow up with Doctor Mills and I felt my nearsighted vision was getting worse then before. Surprisingly she gave me same day appointment. My appointment was at 5:25pm. Doctor saw his second last patient at 6:20pm. I heard clearly from next door. At 7:05pm, he went to see his last patient which was me. He didn't address my concern and only said I need a reading glass. He said it's not necessary to take a ct scan to check the latest status . Finally, he scrolled down and up the notes on the computer that the receptionist wrote, and questioned me, "Are you making stories to try to make it an emergency today?'' I was astonished. It's not fun to sit there over two hours but when the receptionist gave me the appointment, Should I say NO?
