I am astounded @ how clean, caring, (even some were cheerful) courteous, patient, expedient, re: processing tests, advising/sharing info. & procedures etc., were handled when I visited on Oct. 29, 2020. The reason I am astounded, is that during this very difficult time; all those (Named: Pranali, Gani, Aren, Salwa, Dana, Samara & Kanwal (please excuse if spelling is incorrect) that I met, had
the trademarks of the aforementioned qualities & then some that I believe are the epitome of what all patient/customer care should be! It was @ the end of the day (beyond 5 pm); yet all of the aforementioned, including Dr. Mills remained Steadfastly pleasant. Regardless of the time, Dr. Mills spent as much time as needed, to explain my test results...I highly recommend Prism Eye Institute, as the only drawback, I could possibly mention from my personal standpoint is the ‘notice’ of the amount of time patients have waited. One must go prepared for the wait & please consider what the staff & Dr’(s), must tend to (as I’m sure they are just as tired as the ones waiting; yet I did not get that feeling, when I was tended to (as mentioned they remained pleasant regardless...)! They are among those that I call Heroes (not only as a norm) but through these difficult times too! The facilities are lovely, well cared for & the best safety standards are followed above what is expected & anywhere I have seen!

My appt. was @ Prism Eye Inst. in Mississauga. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond anyones control, there was a power outage; therefore the wait time was extremely long. YET, the upside was, I had the opportunity to witness the machinations of activity that went on with Dr. Mills & his Staff. I found none of the care to be lacking; quite the opposite!...(while I busied myself & circulated the waiting areas a a bit); I found the Surgery staff dealing with a plethora of jobs & some very belligerent persons (on the phone). Yet, the staff dealing with the many issues; were very calm & very courteous!...The atmosphere in the office was very pleasant. The team members/staff, seemed to work cohesively & very pleasantly. The quantity of staff is rather large (however, the quantity of patients is far larger; the staff has much to juggle); yet everyone was pleasant. In spite of the delays, the demeanor of the staff remained beyond cordial. I heard Dr. Mills apologize for the wait time, over & over, to his patients. Yet, can you imagine; how frustrating it could be, for the Dr. too?...Imagine, yourself sitting and waiting...you could easily use the restroom, have a snack, a drink, chat, read....while you wait. Yet, has anyone thought of the Dr & team?...Hence; considering the delays; the Dr & Staff were amazing!...Even the young man (forgive me if I've mispronounced his name; Ahmed), was extremely cordial, patient & thorough. Back to Dr. Mills... Dr. Mills was very cheerful (& it was beyond the end of the day), he was patient (an excellent listener), thorough & knowledgeable. Suzie @ the front desk, was cheerful, kind & very accommodating where my appt. was concerned. I thank Dr. Mills & the staff, for their time, knowledge & care...I wish them continued success!!! If you're looking for an excellent Eye Physician & Surgeon/Vitreoretinal Specialist; that takes great care with his patients & has a staff that is rated in the top percentile as far as I'm concerned, for excellent service; then Dr. Mills @ the Prism Eye Institute is the one to visit! Dr. Mills was nice and kind, answered all my questions and concerns patiently. Although the wait time was long but i was satisfied when i left his clinic today.

I have to have injections for my AMD and with Dr Mills the injections are painless which makes a change from my previous doctor. He always has time to explain things.

I've been diagnosed with CRVO. I found Dr. Michael Mills to be professional, thorough, trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable. I feel comfortable leaving my Intravitreal Anti-VEGF eye injections in his hands.

Dr. Mills has been excellent in helping my Mom with her AMD. He is very kind, answers all our questions and provides ideas for support. He has also fit her in when urgent needs have arisen. I would recommend Dr. Mills to everyone!
