I have had nothing but amazing experiences with Dr. Heslip! She is the most thorough, kind and considerate doctor I’ve seen. In reading through her comments, I find it hard to believe people rate her based on her front staff. Her staff has nothing to do with how good she is! I highly recommend Dr. Heslip!

Dr. Heslip is amazing and delivered our first child. Unfortunately her receptionists are rude and very unprofessional!! If they are going to have a poor attitude all the time maybe they should look for a job that they actually like!

Dr. Heslip is very thorough, knowledgeable, detailed in explanations with excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent doctor and staff. Don't feel rushed.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Heslip and as a gynaecologist she is very understanding and explain things well. Unfortunately she has a terrible staff. I had to call several times (more than 30x) just to make a follow up appointment with her. Stuff never seems to answer the phone no matter what time of the day, or return messages. Most of time I just get the machine saying to call back next day or even two days later as the machine does not take message. To talk to actual human being in that office on the phone seems impossible! Too bad, because Dr. Heslip is (not very punctual) but really, really nice.

Dr. Heslip delivered our 3rd child. She was talking us thru everything that was going on during the c- section. She was calm and so polite which calmed me down cause she was the doctor on call. I highly recommend here

I moved to Canada during my 3rd trimester and scrambled to find an OB. Luckily I got referred to Dr. Heslip who is not only informative, but very easy to talk to. In regards to her receptionist, I have read many negative comments about her but I need to disagree. She is just straight to the point and if you are nice to her, she is nice to you. People are way too sensitive these days! The only thing about Dr. Heslip is that it is sometimes difficult to arrange a time to meet her as she has many patients and is in and out of hospital. The wait time to see her can be a while but it is worth it.

Wow she was so nice and helpful, went over all my concerns and addressed them all. I wasn't scheduled for a pap smear but she gave me one anyways which was nice because I recently switched family doctor's to a male who I'm not totally comfortable with just yet, she also is going to do a follow up appointment to see how my new medication is working for me which I thought was kind of her. Wish she could be my family doctor I even told her she was one of the nicest doctors I ever met!
